Chicago is primary a swing dance ballroom offering classes, social dances and general swing dance events in the center of Stockholm.

Chicago is located at Hornsgatan 75. The nearest reserved car parks are located at Hornsgatan 92, Brännkyrkagatan 91 and 76, Krukmakargatan 40. Chicago has no sound loops or hearing aids. The business has a relatively high volume of sound as it includes both live and recorded music for dance. The business is not audio-interpreted or text-interpreted. The physical accessibility is limited as the ro

om is located in the basement half a flight of stairs down without an elevator. The toilets are not adapted for people with reduced mobility. The establishment is free from strong scents and bright light. We have a courteous and friendly staff who are happy to help in all situations. Today, we gather for a special Friday After Work themed class focusing on Ballroom Blues, Dips, and Tricks.

Inspired by the styles of the historic Savoy Ballroom, this session is designed to level up your slow dancing and add a bit of showboating to your repertoire. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn from one another, chat, and strengthen the community spirit.

The doors open at 17.00 if you wish to enjoy a drink and mingle before we start.
The class runs from 17.30 to 18.30.

Afterward, the space remains open until 19.00, and those who wish can move down the street together to Zinkens Krog to keep the conversation going.

Please note that for this specific theme, you will need to bring a fixed partner. Ask someone from your current class or a friendly face from the social dance floor.

Tomorrow at Chicago: two very different events, one full day of swing culture.

In the afternoon: Lindy Hop Akrobatik Workshop with Elice Fällström and Nils Nygårdh, for dancers ready to explore the spectacular acrobatic side of Lindy Hop.
In the evening: Chicago Swing Jam Session: musicians, dancers, improvisation, and one of the most open and joyful nights in the house.
