Chicago is primary a swing dance ballroom offering classes, social dances and general swing dance events in the center of Stockholm.

Chicago is located at Hornsgatan 75. The nearest reserved car parks are located at Hornsgatan 92, Brännkyrkagatan 91 and 76, Krukmakargatan 40. Chicago has no sound loops or hearing aids. The business has a relatively high volume of sound as it includes both live and recorded music for dance. The business is not audio-interpreted or text-interpreted. The physical accessibility is limited as the ro

om is located in the basement half a flight of stairs down without an elevator. The toilets are not adapted for people with reduced mobility. The establishment is free from strong scents and bright light. We have a courteous and friendly staff who are happy to help in all situations. Tonight, we gather for the final Chicago Live Wednesdays of the season before we close for the summer break.
It has been a wonderful term filled with dedicated dancers, fine music, and new faces joining our community. Tonight is about celebrating all of that on the floor one last time with The Hot Shots spinning the tunes from 20.00 to 23.00.

Whether you come to dance every song or simply to share a drink and listen to great jazz with friends, you are warmly welcome. If you want to brush up on your basics or try it out for the first time, our Lindy Hop drop-in class begins at 19.00.

Entry for the social dance is 150 kr (100 kr discounted).
Let’s make this final night on the floor a beautiful memory to carry into the summer.

Tomorrow at Chicago, we celebrate the end of the term with our Elevdans.

As we approach the end of the season before the summer break, tomorrow night social dance is the perfect opportunity to step onto the floor. With our DJs spinning classic tunes at a gentler, relaxed tempo, the evening is specifically tailored for anyone who might be new to social dancing or looking to practice their steps in a welcoming space.

To all of our current students, entry is included as a thank you for dancing with us this term.
If you are not a student, you are of course equally welcome to join the community and share the floor, regular entry is 200 kr (150 kr for concessions).

We gather from 20.00 to 23.00. Let’s enjoy these final weeks of the season together.

Midweek dancing returns this Wednesday as Chicago Live Wednesdays welcomes the Tommy Löbel Swing Band to the studio.

Join us for another beautiful evening of live music, social dancing, and connection. Our floor is ready for everyone, whether you plan to dance all night or prefer to sit back, listen to classic jazz, and take in the atmosphere.

We begin with the Lindy Hop drop-in class at 19.00: no prior registration needed.
The live music starts at 20.00.

Today, we gather for a special Friday After Work themed class focusing on Ballroom Blues, Dips, and Tricks.

Inspired by the styles of the historic Savoy Ballroom, this session is designed to level up your slow dancing and add a bit of showboating to your repertoire. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn from one another, chat, and strengthen the community spirit.

The doors open at 17.00 if you wish to enjoy a drink and mingle before we start.
The class runs from 17.30 to 18.30.

Afterward, the space remains open until 19.00, and those who wish can move down the street together to Zinkens Krog to keep the conversation going.

Please note that for this specific theme, you will need to bring a fixed partner. Ask someone from your current class or a friendly face from the social dance floor.
