This is not my voice
Ever wondered what it’s like to meet your digital twin? I’ve been prototyping a 3D “brother” of myself, complete with AI-driven dialogue, using Unreal Engine 5.5’s Live View Sequencer on an empty level. Everything you see here is pure WIP alpha—animations, clothes, lipsync, cinecam, audio track… the full tech playground.
How it came together:
📸 60-camera photogrammetry rig (Goodbye Kansas, 2022 internship).
🔄 RealityCapture reconstruction + ZBrush cleanup.
🛠 Blender tweaks, Mesh to MetaHuman in UE5.3 → migrated to UE5.5.
✍️ AI script by Copilot + voiceover crafted with ElevenLabs.
🎬 Lipsync, rig-retarget & FaceRig/BodyRig adjustments in UE5.5 & Blender.
👔 Clothing retarget via MetaTailor + NVIDIA capture + final edit on my phone.
This is raw alpha—just technical tests—but seeing my old DSLR snaps transform into a talking, breathing avatar has been nothing short of magical. I’d love to hear your thoughts on challenges you spot, wild use cases you imagine, or just your level of excitement!
