We are still absolutely buzzing from the strong and beautiful feelings our 5th concert brought up from the depths of our souls!!! In the beautiful venue we sang our hearts out to an absolutely brilliant audience!!! So much love and support was shared in the great venue that held many legends on that stage before us, it was one big tribe united by music. There was groove, there was soul, therewas dancing, there were even some vocal warm ups for the audience and they did great! We are now off to a deserved rest, but are so looking forward to our next semester, and already taking applications on our website from potential members! Only 2 days 'till we are up on that legendary Hamburger börs stage!!!!! We are beyond excited to present the hard work we did this semester - proud to be a Choir where people from all over the world find a feeling of home, right here in the heart of beautiful Stockholm, and our lovely Swedes find a charming touch of diverse world cultures! And all that singing awesome pop music in a pop way with our Pop Songstress as the choir leader and vocal arranger!

Counting down to our 5th concert!!!! Go and get your tickets now, you will thank yourself later ;)

We've got such a lovely and groovy bunch of pop songs prepared for you, and we can't wait to sing our hearts out on the stage of on Sunday!

This was our last rehearsal before coming together with our band - our Choir leader says that , honestly, we totally rocked! 🥰🥳

So come Sunday, get a drink at the bar, warm up those vocal chords, put on your dancing shoes and come let yourself FEEL the music with us, just like we do!

Today we had our already traditional picnic rehearsal in Lumaparken! 🥰 It always comes close to our concert as an extra rehearsal that we need so that we could repeat the whole repertoire and remind ourselves of all the intricate details we have worked on at our regular rehearsals!
We were in smaller numbers but still worked hard in the draining 25C heat! It is now only 7 days until our concert in ! Hurry up and get your tickets on the link in our bio or story!

Yesterday our Choir founder and leader had a LIVE interview on Stockholm's radio P4, and talked about her move to Sweden and the founding of her two choirs, one being The Melting Pot Collective! Some nice recognition from for both Kristina and the Choir!!! :)
Our member Isabela also contributed by talking about the Choir and how we do what we do!
We announced tomorrow's open rehearsal on Luma, and our concert on May 31st in Hamburger Börs!

Tomorrow we are having our traditional Luma picnic rehearsal, when we rehearse out in the open, and repeat everything we have worked on this semester, reminding ourselves of the key details for each performance! It is not a public performance, but rather a rehearsal in public! 😊
One thing this post wants to accentuate though, is that every choir is made of people singing in it, and these people are the soul, the culture and the spirit of The Melting Pot Collective!!! 🥰 They have passed our group singing audition; they show up each week with well-learnt vocal arrangements, ready to polish the performance by working on crucial details; they try very hard, trust our Choir leader and give their best each time!
So today, an appreciation post - kudos to all the members of The Melting Pot Collective, you rock!
And if you want to show your support to their hard work and gift yourself with a great and fun evening filled with awesome pop music - come to our concert on May 31st at at 6pm!!!

So much fun with these party bangers by that we are preparing for our concert!!! Working on the groove, the pronounciation, the "bite" (word of the semester in The Melting Pot Collective) - making sure we are giving due respect to the original performance of the singer/songwriters whose music we perform, yet giving it our own twist here and there!
If you like what we do, this wonderful bunch of multi-cultural people from all over the world living in Stockholm and singing with our lovely Swedes, show your support by coming to our concert on May 31st, Hamburger börs, 6pm! A bar in the foyer, some dancing shoes and off we all go! 😇😊

The upcoming concert is our 5th one, at the end of our 5th semester! So many beautiful people inside and out and of different backgrounds went through The Melting Pot Collective in these 2+ years, with the majority staying - hence the 82 members this semester!!!
