Today is the day!!!

Our Group singing Audition is happening this evening and we get to chose some new members for The Melting Pot Collective and its´ 6th semester of existence! :)

It is going to be fun, shouldn´t be ANY fear or nerves involved - only good vibes and HARMONY, the word of the day!

Olivia Dean's "So easy (to fall in love)" was a proper treat for us last semester! How do you like the vocal arrangement we sang, made by our founder and Choir leader? There were many "tight" harmonies in there, it was a challenge and a great pleasure to perform this on stage for our lovely audience!

Who knows what great songs await us in the Autumn semester!
However, the places we have next semester are PRE-TTY limited, so hurry up while the applications are still open - the Group singing audition is on August 31st! :)

The Audition Invitations have now been sent, so for those of you who have already applied, if you have not received your Audition invitation, look for it in your Inbox's Spam folder!!!

Applications are still wide open, so it's not too late if you want to join our wonderful community of foreigners living in Stockholm and the kind, welcoming locals singing all together in the heart of the city, on Mariatorget! :) And all that with original vocal arrangements by our founder and Choir leader, long time songwriter, producer and performer Kristina Kovac, who was also an X Factor Adria judge ;)!

The Melting Pot Collective, the sensational pop choir bringing together foreigners and Swedes living in Stockholm, is taking applications for new members for our Autumn semester!!!
There is a limited number of places since a huge number of members is staying on - 69 to be exact!!! :) We take that as a big compliment.

Now you can be a part of our unforgettable night, our little jubilee - the 5th concert of The Melting Pot Collective titled "We are the people"!!!

With more than 75 members on stage and a 7-piece band including a brass section, we left our hearts on that stage!!! And our audience was incredible - singing, dancing and sharing the LUUUV! :) THANK YOU!

Applications are now open for The Melting Pot Collective — Autumn Semester 2026.!!! 🎶

A choir where people meet, grow — and stay. ✨

The Melting Pot Collective is an international pop choir in Stockholm, created to bring foreigners and Swedes together through music — making life in the city warmer, richer and more connected. 🌍

People with different languages, cultures and stories meet here not only to sing, but to become part of something meaningful together. 💛

At the same time, this is not a traditional choir.

The Melting Pot Collective is a place where singers work deeply with how pop music is actually sung.

Our work is built around original vocal arrangements, authentic pop phrasing, groove, tone, blend, emotion and the small vocal details that make the difference between just singing the notes — and making people feel something.

Many members describe rehearsals as feeling like a one-on-one vocal coaching class — somehow happening with 80 singers in the room. 🎤

The choir was founded and is led by Kristina Kovač — songwriter, producer, artist and former X Factor Adria judge, with a long career in pop music and collaborations with world-renowned musicians including Vinnie Colaiuta, Dominic Miller and Paul Turner.

And still, the heart of this choir is the community.

This autumn, 67 out of 83 members are continuing with us.

People don’t just join The Melting Pot Collective.
They stay. 💛

And now, there is room for new singers to become part of it!

When hugging your Choir leader comes naturally in front of an audience! ;) Joking aside, LOVE is what we do in fact spread with both on our concerts and on our rehearsals! 'Cause the motto that we come together around is - we are People first. 🥰
