I swear I don't actually live in a tree but I did go on a long hike with .hairhair and took a ton of pictures. Basically filled up my phone storage. This was a few weeks ago so it was our first, *maybe it's spring so let's go outside* but then there was still a bit of snow and ice here and there. So there were some slidey moments. My feet hurt a lot at the end but it was an amazing time outside. A few days later I drew a sketchbook spread with the pictures I took as reference. So I thought maybe it's interesting for people to see the drawings next to the pictures that inspired them.
I found so much cool moss and lichen on this hike and I definitely want to draw more! We also passed by a really cool looking ruin. There was a tree growing on top of it so safe to say it wasn't used for a good while. It turned out to be an old lime kiln. So of course that prompted us to look up some information on lime kilns. So now we know what those are.
