This is the time of year to be out foraging for mushrooms. It's was forecasted to rain all week so I thought I might as well go out in the rain then. I found a lot of winter chanterelles or trätt kantarell as they are called here in Sweden. They are very tasty and it's quite popular to look for them here. They usually grow back in the same spot every year so once you have found a good spot you can come back to it again and again. A little disclaimer: you can't just use this video for identification if you want to go and find some yourself. You'll need a mushroom identification book or use some identification websites. If it's your first time foraging I recommend to go out with someone with experience or join a mushroom tour. Whatever you do you don't want to rely on ai, it's often wrong. Only eat the mushrooms if you are 100% sure you know what it is. And of course you can also just go out to admire the mushrooms it's a good day out either way.
