After one hell of a drive, we're back where we started, in San Francisco. Made it back to Snoqualmie before we left the Chicago area and was luckily open, but it had snowed like crazy so it was a bit of an adventure. The amazing antique shop next to it was unfortunately still closed.
Drove down to a cabin in Oregon for the night, raining a lot the whole way so it took us much longer than expected. Thus, no pictures from the cabin unfortunately.
Pushed onward yesterday heading for Sacramento. Much better conditions and it got increasingly warmer as we got further south. So from freezing temperatures to Swedish summer weather in a matter of hours.
Goal yesterday deserves its own post so I'll put that out later. Some pictures from that at the end though.

First picture: the metal box that's bringing us across the nation.
Left Astoria yesterday and the rain kept falling nonstop from when we entered Washington state but we came prepared. Hit Seattle in the afternoon and made it to MoPop before they closed. Today we've been out in Snoqualmie with surroundings. I turned on the morning news before we left and learned about an epic snow storm hitting the Snoqualmie area with massive power outages. Well guess what, most places were closed as a result, including Twede's! We have a VERY long drive tomorrow but we'll try to make it there again before going south. Been craving that cherry pie and damn good cup of coffee for the entire trip.

Photo dump from the first few days on the US west coast. Started out in San Francisco, onward to southern Oregon. Been checking some really nice sites by the coast and redwood forests. Right now a bit more up north in a house that is practically in the sea. Continuing north tomorrow, will hit Seattle in a couple of days, to eventually head back down to San Francisco

Back home after the best and most successful tour I've been on so far. A million thanks to the roughly 24.000 fans who showed up at the gig, but even more thanks to everyone who made all this possible. my right hand (wo) man .of.chaos.666 of , my buddy out at FOH who turns lightbulbs on and off or whatever it is, and Vacek for their years of dedication and top-notch work, the newest addition to the family, who has allowed me to completely stop worrying about audio on stage side and who I can trust completely to get everything set up right even with my extreme perfectionism, for crushing it with the merch, Luc, Amber, Anouk, Luuk and everyone else at , Alvaro and , and, needless to say, the band for going up night after night to deliver a show that just keeps getting better and better. .art who has more or less become the inhouse art designer at this point, for remarkable videography and for putting up with my endless requests for revisions, Odd and .no for getting us safely to each show and providing top quality services.
Let's not forget the other bands, for putting on a brilliant show night after night, for kicking the asses of 99% of the death metal scene after countless years of service, and magnificent crew of both bands, , Seth and Oscar for making the supports sound great, a boatload of more people that I don't know the name of due to my antisocial tendencies...oh well.

Onward and upward! More to come. The year is one!
