Music has always been a part of her life, the first lyrics were written at an early age on the playground in her hometown Turku, assisted by her mother. The songs just kept on coming and the enthusiasm towards making a musical career grew and she began her career as a solo artist in 2017. As no suitable background musicians were available, she bought an ukulele, started practising and stood on sta

ge performing her own material and cover songs 6 months later
In the summer of 2020 she found the right people at Colla records and everything finally clicked. The years have taught that everything is possible, and obstacles can be overcome. Laura Cathrina works hard for her mission, comes with a positive message and is a captivating performer. Her debut single Paralyzed is about the difficulties caused by an abusive relationship. And the core message, no matter what happens you will always find a way back home, there is always hope.

Heal is a pop song, with a positive and hopeful vibe. I wanted to create a song that makes you feel seen and heard. It was kind of a love songs for myself. I needed to feel accepted as I am, and this song made me feel like it’s okay to be me. I hope you can find your own meaning in the song and may it be healing. ❤️
