Tjeckiska centret (České centrum ve Stockholmu) Tjeckiska centrets främsta uppgift är att göra tjeckisk kultur tillgänglig för en bred svensk publik. Czech Center Stockholm är en del av Czech Centers nätverk.

The aim of the Czech Centre Stockholm is to actively promote Czech culture in Sweden and make it accessible to a wider audience. Tjeckiska centra är ett kulturinstitut som inrättats av Tjeckiens utrikesministerium. Deras främsta uppdrag är att sprida och stödja Tjeckiens goda namn och stärka kulturella relationer mellan länderna. Det verkar för närvarande på 26 utländska destinationer på 4 kontine

nter. Czech Center Stockholm grundades 1997. Det är också medlem i EUNIC-nätverket. Czech Center Stockholm tillhandahåller även tjeckisk språkundervisning och deltar i anordnandet av certifierade språkprov.

Česká centra jsou kulturním institutem zřízeným Ministerstvem zahraničních věcí ČR. Jejich hlavním posláním je šíření a podpora dobrého jména Česka a posilování kulturních vztahů mezi zeměmi. V současnosti působí ve 26 zahraničních destinacích na 4 kontinentech. České centrum Stockholm bylo založeno v roce 1997. Rovněž je členem sítě EUNIC. České centrum Stockholm zajišťuje také výuku českého jazyka a podílí se na organizaci certifikovaných jazykových zkoušek.

The Czech Centre Stockholm is part of the Czech Centres’ network. The Czech Centres are a cultural institute established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Their main mission is to support and promote the reputation of Czechia and to strengthen cultural relations between countries. They are currently based in 26 cities on 4 continents. The Czech Centre Stockholm was founded in 1997. It is also a member of EUNIC. The Czech Centre Stockholm provides Czech language courses and participates in the organisation of the Czech Language Certificate Exams.

☀️ Did you know? International Childern's Day is celebrated to highlight the importance of childern's right, wellbeing and access to education with safe future for every child.

It's officially celebrated on June 1st in many countries, including the Czech Republic. The tradition of celebrating Childern's Day on this date dates back to the 1950s!

🇨🇿 In the Czech Republic it's less about presents and more about experiences and celebration with family festivals, outdoor games and community events, this is a big part of the tradition. Childern get a small treat and often they get no tests day at schools!

🎶Czech Centres are connecting the Prague Spring International Music Festival with audiences around the world. Thanks to our new memorandum of cooperation, we are now an official partner for the festival’s international presentation.

🎺This year, the opening concert will be heard not only in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House in Prague, but also internationally through our global network.
