Impulse - A memorised, kinetic production of Shostakovich’s Chamber Symphony and Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, performed by Scottish Ensemble and developed in partnership with choreographer Örjan Andersson.

Bringing performers and audience into the very heart of the music, the musicians are set free to create a striking visual representation of the patterns, intricacies, and passion of these iconic works. This is music that encompasses the entire human emotional spectrum. From the darkest, most desolate despair, the kind that burrows into the corners of your psyche, to utter euphoria, the kind that sets you free. This is the human condition painted in high intensity colours.

Gen rep i kväll och äntligen 'Mössan'-premiär i morgon på --------------------------------------

"Mössan" är ett virtuost kraftprov för en skådespelare. Koreografen Örjan Andersson skapar tillsammans med skådespelaren och dansaren Olof Yassin en fysisk solo där orden får kropp. Här presenteras en både skrämmande och groteskt komisk värld som beskriver människans instängdhet i sitt eget huvud.
Den österrikiska författaren Thomas Bernhards maniska novell 'Mössan' skildrar en absurd resa in i besatthetens värld. Till sist upptäcker berättaren att hela hans liv har börjat behärskas av denna mössa.

On Saturday 17th of February we will premiere 'Odysséen' - a co-production with

Meet Odysseus, the great hero of Greek mythology, who, on his journey home from the Trojan War, encounters a multitude of adventures and misfortunes. He wanders at sea for ten years before finally reuniting with Penelope.

The Odyssey is based on Homer's epic poem about war, love, and longing. In our production, a subtle retelling is presented where space and time alternately move and come to a halt. Through both words and movement, everything that happens while the gods watch is explored. About humans being brilliant and fantastic, yet pathetic at the same time. About sometimes needing to get lost to find the way home.
