We’d like to thank everybody that’s been a member and part of our events. We’ve built quite a community of great people, made friends and created connections we know we won’t lose with this space. It’s just walls. Onto the next adventures and hope to see you all soon again. Let’s stay in touch! 👋🏻

This weekend and the next we’re hosting a ceramics pop-up with a new creative workspace coming up in Stockholm soon.
We have several time slots, email us to book a time or stop by and have a playaround with some clay, making mugs, a vase, abstract sculpture or whatever you’ve been wanting to make..

OPEN CALL - SALONG SERGEL

Description
"På Sergels torg", , is a collaboration between the City of Stockholm and property owners in the city centre. The goal is a vibrant and safe Sergels torg, where people enjoy to be.

At the moment, many retail spaces at Sergels torg are empty. Through the Salong Sergel initiative, we invite artists, makers, and designers to contribute to an urban gallery - a gallery with murals, posters or other 2-dimensional work on vacant storefront windows that is open 24/7 and offers new experiences to city dwellers.

Practical conditions
• As we only have access to the storefront windows we can only accept 2-dimensional work as murals or printed work.
• Compensation is SEK 5,000 (ex VAT) per selected proposal (by invoice). "På Sergels torg" will fund printing, installation and your material cost.
• We encourage proposals to be painted on-site (in part or in full), but the on-site work should take a maximum of one day and be able to be carried out during the latter part of November 2020. If your proposal is to be printed, you must be prepared to send a print-ready original within a week or so after you have been selected (at the latest during week 47).
• Format: approx. 480 x 250 cm (landscape).

Application process
Submit a brief description of your idea, 3-5 pictures of previous works and a short text about yourself. If you already have a motif that you want to use, send it in. Existing imagery should not be more than three years old.

You may apply with up to 3 proposals. Groups are welcome to submit.

Applications are sent directly, but no later than Monday 2 November 2020 at 13.00 to [email protected]

We review the applications in the order we receive them. Admission process is schedueld to be finalized during week 47. The selection is made by "På Sergels torg" led by the curator for art and design of the project.
