Excited to share my latest mashup that blends the energetic beats of Calvin Harris, Alesso ft. Hurts - âUnder Controlâ with Mike Candys - âPopcornâ and Axwell & Ingrosso - âMore than You Knowâ! đ¶
âUnder Controlâ has always been one of my favorite tracks, but finding a way to mix it properly was a challenge. So, I decided to remake it from scratch with a fresh sound. Using the latest synthesizers and sound packs, I completely revamped the instrumental. To maintain the essence of the original, I used AI to extract the vocals, ensuring the track stayed true to its roots.
This approach gave me more control over individual elements, allowing for smoother transitions between the different parts. A great mashup relies on tracks in the same key and similar tempos. In this case, I had to transition from 126bpm to 128bpm. To preserve sound quality, I avoid stretching or manipulating the tracks too much, keeping the drops and non-mixed parts in their original state. This method ensures the final mix is high-quality and crisp.
