🎨 Watercolor painting 30x40 cm of Gripsholm Castle in Mariefred, Sweden.
The beautiful dome roofs are what attracted me to create this painting, so I zoomed in really closely and let the rest of the castle and the surounding grounds fade away into the vignet.

These two ladies were painted in a more long and narrow format to really allow the bottom half of the dress to run and flow freely. I used a mix of Preussian blue and Mars black which was an interesting combination. The blue really flows easily towards the wet and the black is very granulating and has separated out in places. This created a very dynamic monochrome color.
