There are monsters in the city. Monsters with eyes that are watching and following us. The city’s eyes are machinery, technological extensions: limbs extending from the bodies of the city.

”[…] and this eye f***s the world to make techno-monsters”, writes Donna Haraway about technological tools used in science to enhance our vision. With technological eyes we claim to see everything from nowhere. This eye is thought to be a neutral, objective point of view in contrast to our fleshly, subjective eyes. We should ask ourselves, can technological eyes be neutral?

This exhibition highlights surveillance in the city. It is an exploration of the uncomfortableness of being visible: a narration about eyes, the act of seeing, being seen and the overseer, through images of monster and cyborgs. Ellen and Jens investigate these ideas through photo, video, illustration and sounds.

Jens Milveden: photo, video.
Ellen Sahlberg: illustration, animation, sculpture, sound.

Flags!

Not for nations, not as promises –
but as marks
Bruises blooming beneath the surface.
Wounds that refuse to close.
Something that has already broken through.

Flags for cannot be carried in the open.
Flags for what seeps, flares up, returns.

The Mark of Cain is said to be a protection.
The Mark of Cain is said to be a curse.
It remains, regardless of what one calls it.

Here, it is allowed to unfold.

Not as a sign of guilt,
But as a surface that insists.
A form that does not ask to be made whole.

What should be hidden is raised.
What should heal is kept open.

Not a warning –
But a presence.

The flag do not point toward anything shared.
They do not gather.
They pulse on their own.
Like bodies.
Like the state of being.
Like something that has already happened.

And yet:
They remain.

As if the mark itself has risen.

After a successful premiere at Inkonst in fall 2022 Tuva Hildebrand is now sharing her interactive on-to-one performance Dear Earthling again – this time in a smaller and a more lo-fi setting at FRANK Gallery & Studios.
In a format similar to a therapeutic one-to-one session Dear Earthling guides one person at a time through ritual which brings us close to natures cycles of life, death and transformation.
Through somatic guidance  and an immersive environment to interact with, the performance explores our relation to the more-than-human and questions our anthropocentric world-view. Inspired by humans evolutionary and embryological journey the ritual leads you through a room of your lungs, ocean and birth, a room of your heart, wood and movement, and lastly your skeleton, soil and death. In a gentle and non-invasive atmosphere you are invited to listen, smell, move, write touch and be touched.
Duration: 60 min
Concept and project leader: Tuva Hildebrand
Collaborators and performers: Ina Doom, Emelia Koberg, Mattis Matthis, Marcella Steen, Marie Klawitter and Tuva Hildebrand.
Dramaturgical advice:  Stefan Åkesson, Nina Matthis och Sally O´Neill.
Sound: Tomas Björkdal

2026-03-28

Klassisk skådespelarutbildning vid Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Verksam i Storbritannien från 2000. Spännande att få spela på hemmaplan!
—–
QUEENAGERS. The cabaret that celebrates womanhood. A journey through the wondrous world of menopause, bursting myths, exploring history, and spreading facts. With humour, a touch of seriousness and much reverence. An antidote to aging gracefully.
“On stage you’ll find me, Gabriella Björk Gabbitas, menopause veteran.”
Sometimes with by a musician, subject to availability, to accompany me in song.
Sometimes with a guest artist, also subject to availability.
The material is written by Gabriella and partly developed in collaboration with the UK’s feminist production hub Scary Little Girls and comedian Jennifer Kennedy.

Who are we?
QUEENAGERS is arranged by Gabriella Björk Gabbitas, a freelance actor and “new Swede” returning home with roots in British performing arts. Classically trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Active in the UK since 2000. Exciting to perform on home ground!

RESHUFFLING RELATIONS: YOU COME, WE SHOW YOU WHAT WE DO – ANNA “PIPPI” WALLIN & CI FOLKS (PERFORMANCE)

2026-03-15 14:00-16:00

This is an invitation to experience the practice of Contact Improvisation within the community of Malmö – with a long history of sharing, experimenting, and connecting through movement in contact. It is a practice of touch, weight sharing, listening, and improvising with the space between us.

This performance and exhibition of a practice is also a historical reference to the first time Steve Paxton shared Contact Improvisation publicly, at a gallery on Manhattan in New York, during 5 hours per day, five days in a row – having dancers just practicing in the gallery while audience could witness them the way you do in an art exhibition.
This moment serves both as an invitation to newcomers to witness what contact improvisation is, for all to witness it as an art form — and as a celebration of our members’ ongoing exploration.
Members taking part (tbc)

Anna Vilhelmine Wallin
Karin Ervelin (Kimpro Höör, neighbor community)

HORSE Performance Co. has teamed up with FRANK Gallery & Studios to revive HORSE W.I.P. a works-in-progress salon for practicing artists. If you have a creative project that you’re contemplating, drafting, struggling with or just itching to share, we invite you to join this monthly gathering.
Head HERE to let us know if you’re interested.

HORSE W.I.P. participants will meet monthly at FRANK to exchange and reflect on their latest ideas. The only requirement is that the works are in development for future audiences of some kind. The format for each session will remain flexible, and feedback can be structured according to the artists’ needs and desires.

On the 18th of September, all HORSE W.I.P. artists will have the option of presenting excerpts from their pieces at an event called Culture Ju**ie, an evening of works-in-progress showings hosted by Inkonst. (More info on this to come.)

We hope so much that you will take advantage of this gathering. We feel strongly that Malmö artists need more spaces of our own to develop ideas, and that we all benefit from mutual support.

RESHUFFLING RELATIONS: BOTTOMS FOR CHRIST: NO FIXED POSITIONS WITH ESTRELLX SUPERNOVA (PERFORMANCE)

2026-03-20
19:00-21:00

Bottoms for Christ: No Fixed Positions is a solo that explores my desire to develop a relationship to the erotic that is spiritual, reciprocal, consensual. This solo is also a practice in telling the truth about what has gotten in the way of letting my freak flag fly high. Thus, the core score within this work is called inhabiting paradox, a kind of tender wrestling between my present self, outdated conditioning, energetic wounds, and the arrival of my future self…moment to moment to moment.
long:
I grew up attending very conservative Latinx Pentecostal churches in the U.S. and memories from this era have been surfacing up within my consciousness lately. I am not necessarily interested in unpacking my relationship to Pentecostal Christianity within this work, but I am interested in revealing parts of the spiritual ecosystem I have created for myself (based on this initial belief system) that honor my queerness, belief in something greater than my physical self, belief in God/dess.
These initial episodes of Bottoms for Christ will implement a mixture of movement, tableaux vivante, voice, and audience engagement as mechanisms for excavating alternative subjectivities of the erotic in service of expressing what it has felt like (and feels like) to engage with intimacy after corporeal-relational ruptures have occurred. The work asks, “What is safe enough for me right now and then again right now? How can a heart-centered gaze support my body with softening? Can we touch without touching or without demanding specific expectations? What part of you aches? What part of you experiences the most pleasure?”
In future performative episodes, I will share insights into the beauty of missed encounters, glory holes as pseudo black holes, the phenomenon of Twin Flames, intimacy choreography, kink and fe**sh play, rendering the messy art of consent and negotiation visible, phantom limbs, and more.
