Galleri CC har deltagit i, bl.a. Supermarket Art Fair i Stockholm, Konst Swap Europa i Berlin, och Alt_Cph Art Fair i Köpenhamn samt haft samarbeten och utbyten med Galleria Rajatila i Tammerfors (FI), WIZARD galleri i Oslo (NO ) och OK Corral i Köpenhamn (DK). Today It’s a last day of of the exhibition
‘Another Cargo Coming’ with Lotten Pålsson

“It is coincidences like these that Lotten uses as a starting point, and which often become the method in her works. Jung called them synchronicities: meaningful meetings between events that cannot be explained by a direct causal relationship. The connection arises in the moment, and it is us, humans, who give the moment meaning.
As an analyst, Jung was interested in understanding the human psyche through the forms of communication that can arise beyond the written or spoken word. In the same way, Lotten gives us, through symbols and synchronicities, a deeper understanding of how we interact within a collective consciousness. She shifts language and leads the viewer in different directions: A poem, old boxes of pastel crayons, an abstract drawing that captures a sudden emotional shift – echoing and resonating with each other.
– With language, one tries to grasp the measurable in order to understand one’s reality. But one does not always meet in words, one can meet in other ways. In the sound work Fäders Feathers, halting communication, when words are lacking, is made through actions.”
