The beauty of simplicity
My name is Lars Fredriksson and I am an artist from Malmö, Sweden. The vision with the art is to show the beauty of simplicity and to express my love for colors and for life.
Drawing and painting have been important elements in my life as long as I can remember, but it was first in 2007 I had my first exhibition. The place for the exhibition was a small café in Lund and the theme was Swedish summer landscapes.
In 2008 I started to seriously explore acrylic painting. The first series of mine called 'Swans', inspired by the coast of Malmö, was exhibited two years later at a clothing store.
The following years were devoted to develop the skills and to find my own artistic expression. My way of managing colors and brushes has changed over the years and today I am an abstract painter influenced mostly by life itself. In parallel with the painting I have, in periods, as well explored with charcoal, ink and spray colors.
