What a great day with Malmö Scenfest! For us at Playmate and Theatre In-Balance.
Our staged reading THE WOODS lifted and flew, the packed audience sat in utter concentration, you could hear a pin drop.
Great work by a hugely focused team on stage and to Director Mariana Araoz. Lovely to see the In-Balance Method in practice in performance - with floor work, "flying" chairs, dubbing, mask and movement.
THE WOODS is still a work in progress, we hope after all the fantastic feedback from the audience so far yesterday, this strong text and adaptation will be back. It is a collaboration between us at Playmate Theatre Malmö and In-Balance
With Joan Bentsen as the reader; Andrew Christiansen as the voice of the wolf; Lesley Leichtweis Bernardi as the body of the wolf, Vanessa Poole as the mother and introducing Lisa Simioni as the child.
