Live on stage Friday 26/9 is Malmö artist NOREA. At 19:30 she will perform with new songs and also the event will be the release party for her single record SUBMARINES.
NOREA (SE) is an electronic indie pop project where dreamy melodies and pulsating rhythms meet in an atmospheric soundscape. The music is created in the bedroom – inspired by years in London, roots in Malmö and an incurable love for music that is felt. With influences from Cocteau Twins, Beach House and the DIY spirit of punk, floating synths are mixed with raw honesty. After playing drums in bands such as Junodef, Del III and The Garage Flowers, Norea has stepped into the spotlight and broken the unwritten rule that drummers should keep the beat, not write songs.
On stage, the sound is amplified by Linus Kuhlin, who helps to bring the dreamy electronic soundscape to life. With a desire to blur the boundaries between the electronic and the organic, Norea is ready to take her visionary indie pop to the stage.
