Someone has sabotaged for Circus Africa, which is due to start on May 1 in Leipzig. Someone has written "animal cruelty" on the wagons and the ticket office. The tent has also been damaged. Circus Africa has a park with animals and shows, but this year they also planned to make a guest appearance in Leipzig while the park is open.

In 2020, the danish govermanet bougth all elephants that was left in the dansih circuses. Lara, Djungla, Jenny and Ramboline came to Knuthenborg Safaripark in Denmark. Lara, Djungla, Jenny came from Circus Arena. Ramboline was owned by Bernhard Kaselowsky from Circus Trapez.
Lara has been sick for a long time and the park decided to put her to sleep. The decision was made with a focus on Lara's welfare, as her health condition.
Lara's autopsy showed that her stomach was partially twisted, which had prevented normal digestion.

Circus Roncalli celebrates with a gala show ⭐️

On May 18th, 2026, a very special curtain will rise in Cologne's Neumarkt: Exactly fifty years ago, Roncalli stood for the first time on the Hofgarten meadow in Bonn and greeted its audience with "the greatest poetry of the universe." Now it's time to raise a glass with companions and friends from then and now to "Europe's most admired circus" and celebrate this anniversary in style.

Everyone who loves Roncalli don’t want to miss this special evening. The proceeds from ticket sales will be donated equally to the charity "Wir helfen e V" (We help), which belongs to the Cologne newspaper "Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger" for children and young people in need, and to the Rundschau-Altenhilfe, (Rundschau Senior Citizens' Aid Association). All tickets are available at the anniversary price of €19.76.

In Copenhagen, Circus Arena had set up it’s tent according to tradition on the circus site. Just like in previous seasons, the show is led by celebrities Bubber & Malene Qvist. Several artists this year have been in previous seasons of Arena, although they are doing new acts. Unfortunately, this year the circus has chosen to remove it’s Polish orchestra. Now there is a very skilled drummer (played in Arena many years when they had a band from England), but that is not the same as an orchestra, we think. When it comes to animals, only the Donnert family's horses (acrobatics on horses) are in this year's show.

This weekend we visited Circus Krone in Munich! Krone's programs in Munich are always worth seeing and are of high quality, even this year! ⭐️
A good mix of artists and beautiful animals! A professional combination of music and lights made the experience something special. It is also worth mentioning that Krone is one of the few circuses in Europe that has an orchestra of 9 musicians from Ukraine, including a female musician on the violin🎻

A sad development is that many circuses are switching to recorded music. In our opinion, this also takes away part of the experience, no matter how good the technology is. Krone has everything and is something out of the ordinary! Notice that they sell both salted and sugared popcorn 🍿 😄

In Sweden, Circus Ballerina has its first show this year on April 15th in Billeberga. It is Circus Harlekin which changed its name a few years ago. A circus event that includes a shorter show, a workshop for children and also has a bouncy castle and the opportunity to get make-up done.
