Hear ye, hear ye!

On behalf of the good Lord and Lady Cornelius and Tabitha Ainsworth, you are hereby cordially invited to attend the royal banquet. With the greatest chefs and unrivaled entertainers in attendance, this shall surely be A (K)night to Remember!

As the fateful night draws near, our attendants will soon find out exactly how memorable this eve shall be... For one person among them will not be leaving the banquet alive. As tragic as it is inevitable, this cold-blooded murder will start a chain reaction that will forever shake up the lives of all those in attendance.

Among the royals, priests, scientists and servants in attendance, there are many bonds, motives, and secrets that must be brought to the light. While the honorable Sir Adelaide investigates the murder, the line between victim and villain blurs more with each passing hour. Only with facts and intuition by his side, will he know who his allies are, and who is the enemy. Among the guests, who had a reason to wish harm upon the victim? Who would be ruthless enough to actually follow through? And... Why did the guests even get invited to the banquet in the first place? Answers to these questions (and more) will surely come to light in this cut-throat tale of intrigue, hidden motives, and shameful secrets!

Greetings to all theater veterans and curious new arrivals!

Are you new in Lund and curious about what creative outlets student life has to offer? Are you looking for an opportunity to practice your crafting, acting, singing, and/or improv skills? Are you a theater kid at heart, and are you looking for a place to let your talents shine?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then we would love to meet you!

We at KalmarSpexarna are the first and only student spex in Lund to be written and performed entirely in English. Our unique blend of drama, music, and improv creates an experience that is as memorable as it is accessible!

KalmarSpexarna will be attending the Student Association Fair, and would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about who we are, what a spex is, and how you can get involved!

“Who hasn't heard of the legendary hero Odysseus, and his adventures? His titillating tales of trials, tribulations, and true love were written by the famous poet Homer long ago, and have lived on for many centuries. But it seems that Homer's search for the perfect story was not without some trials of its own. What exactly was happening behind the scenes? When the debut of his show does not go at all as expected, a desperate Homer makes a bold decision that takes his story completely off the rails. But his choice will have bigger consequences than he could ever have foreseen... His beloved creation Odysseus, the star of his show, starts noticing things he shouldn't, asking questions, and prodding at the edges of the world he has always believed to be his home. Will Homer be able to steer his story in the right direction? Or was chaos maybe the secret ingredient he needed to finally create lightning in a bottle? We welcome you to follow Odysseus and his companions as they explore difficult themes such as truth, reality, parenthood, and what it truly means to be a Hero.”

Gaslighting in Greece !

A comical tragedy that could be the greatest twist a classical Greek story has ever witnessed! Follow our characters on their journey against the twisted fates decided by the Gods. But were their lives truly fated by the deities, or is there something else at play? We can find out together!
