As someone who generally approaches open bodies of water (especially the entire being submerged with no bottom in reach part) with a great amount of trepidation, I'm really into stuff flowing like water on stage. These veil flags are sewn by me as a slightly sloppy prototype, just to get a feeling for if it's something I should invest in in the future. I'm starting to think I should make a proper pair! What do you think?

Felt cute, might encourage people to try winter swimming in the Baltic Sea later 🧜‍♀️ come on in, the water’s fine!

I loved creating this act, as it was a very “low pressure-just for fun” kind of thing. I abandoned my usual processes and just went with the vibes of some accessories I already had at home, took some ancient curtains I’ve had lying around for forever, then some cheap iridescent fabric - and somehow it came out as a costume and props! I’m equal parts surprised and proud ✨ also rhinestones make everything better! I’ve been rhinestoning this corset during some of my lectures - sometimes it’s easier to listen when your hands are doing repetitive work, so it’s not only eye candy but a learning tool too at this point 👀
I’m glad it got to sparkle properly at the Open Stage last Saturday.

Last night’s Open Stage by was a blast💥 what an audience and what a fricking show!

Thank you all who came all the way to Karlshamn to bless us with your art. It was a pleasure to witness some of students own the stage, alongside with the solo debut of and the second ever burlesque appearance of the phenomenal . I was floored by energy and sassy attitude on stage. Not to mention the queen , who was the embodiment of “hot” in hot mess last night - I’d let her take me to Paris any time.

And last but not least the peeps who make everything run like clockwork: the impromptu conferencierer and , our most efficient stage mama and the multitalented behind the camera.

Thank you again so much for this well needed boost of energy! This’ll take me through the academic hellscape that awaits me come Monday ✨
