Saturn V rocket, Hunsville, AL

Den hundratio meter långa liggande Staurnus V raketen är imponerande där den ligger utsträckt. Precis framför nosen ligger Apollo XVI kapseln. När man tittar in är det näst intill omöjligt att begripa hur tre astronauter kunde få plats ihopträngda på vad som närmast liknar "brasse" stolar. En nära miss till utanför boken , som har premiär den 4 juli då USA fyller 250 år. Tyck till om du vill.

The 363 feet long lying Saturn V rocket is impressive stretched out. Just in front of it lie the Apollo XVI capsule. Looking inside it is almost impossible to fathom that three astronauts could fit packed together on what looks like flimsy camping chairs. "Dom är här" är den klassiska repliken ur Poltergeist. I Roswell New Mexico har man vetat det sedan 1947 och vetskapen genomsyrar hela staden. För 50 år sedan gjorde Steven Spielberg gjorde filmen "Närkontakt av tredje graden" som jag fascinerades av i tonåren och har sett om många gånger sedan dess.
