Immersive Studios (a.k.a. Old EMI Studio, Abbey Road Stockholm, Skärmarbrinkstudion) is one of Swedens’ last large format studios with it's 11 000sq ft studio complex. Originally built in 1939 as a movie theatre called Kaza, it was rebuilt in 1969 into a replica of the famous Abbey Road Studios in London. Last night felt truly special.

Together with Dolby, PopHouse, Universal and the Tim Bergling Foundation, we welcomed a packed crowd to the IMRSV studio during Stockholm Music Week, for an evening hosted by Dolby; surrounded by artists, collaborators and people pushing music forward.
We’re especially grateful to Dolby for our partnership and for making this possible.

We also introduced Legacy Mixes, a new IMRSV initiative, and premiered two newly reimagined Avicii Dolby Atmos mixes. Hearing these in a new light, in that room, was something else.

This is just the beginning.

Originally released in 2018 as a bonus track on a limited 7” vinyl, the track is now available on streaming services.
