Some days I paint. 🎨

Some days I stare at paintings.

Some days I move them around the studio five times and call it work.

Today was one of those days. 😄

But perhaps that’s part of the process too.

Looking.
Rearranging.
Seeing something new.

Sometimes the painting changes.

Sometimes it’s the artist. ✨

Sundays are for reflection. 💫

Not all painting happens with a brush in hand.

Some of it lives in stillness 🧘‍♀️
in sitting with the work,
in closing the eyes,
in listening to what wants to emerge.

There is a quiet kind of movement
beneath the surface.

And often,
that is where the next painting begins. 🎨

A day in the studio.

For the first time in a long while,
I lost track of time.

A cancelled meeting became an opening
and I found myself painting instead. 🎨

Coffee in one hand,
brush in the other,
and before I knew it,
hours had passed…

Several paintings shifted today,
moving through layers,
changing, opening.

And tonight,
there is a quiet kind of bliss in me.✨

After the exhibition ✨

There is an empty space within.

I feel so grateful for all the people I’ve met —
for the conversations, ✨💫
for the thoughts and feelings that were shared.

Each painting seemed to find its own admirer,
and each admirer their own interpretation.

It’s as if the viewer offers me
a small piece of their story.

And that is something truly beautiful. 🦋

My paintings have taken on new life
through other people’s eyes,
and some of them have now found new homes.

A quiet moment within,
as everything turns inward again,
making space for what comes next. 🌱

RESILIENCE

It does not bloom in ease.
It blooms in spite.

A quiet defiance.
Softness held by strength.

Pink carries tenderness and hope.
Brown remembers the weight of survival.
Yellow insists on light
on growth,
on becoming.

This magnolia stands
not untouched by hardship,
but shaped by it.

For those who endure.
For those who remain open.
For those who bloom
not because it is easy,
but because they choose to.
