Right now I’m in a state of reversing time, thinking about my childhood and youth in Bulawayo and all the things that were my reality back then. The friends I left and still love. The people, the sun, sadza, mbira music, dogs barking and snakes eating frogs in the morning. Strange where our life path leads us. Where we were born and grew up never leaves us, we just bring it along wherever in the world we end up.

My paintings could be seen across the harbour… even in the storm. And people ventured out to see them despite the strong winds. Pretty cool! Goes to show how important art is to our souls.

Utställningen pågår Lördag 19/9 och Söndag 20/9 kl. 10.00-22.00. Och så får ni inte missa Råå Kulturdag på Söndag 20/9 kl. 11.00 vid Råå Museum med musik, konst och hantverk. Vi säger JA till kulturen!
