“Veil of the North”
The model´s face becomes a living symbol of Nordic myth and spirit - a celebration of the gods and nature, rituals for protection, victory and spiritual connection.
One side shows Hel, goddess of death, her blue skin whispering of silence and the underworld beside the Midgard serpent.
The other reveals a Viking warrior, painted with sacred runes for strength, courage, protection and love. On the forehead, the glowing Vegvísir – the Viking compass – shines before a full moon, guiding the soul through storm and shadow. From the lips flows blood, honoring Sigrblót, the ancient ritual of offering to the gods. On branches of fate rest Huginn and Muninn, Odin´s ravens of thought and memory.
Across the chest spreads Yggdrasil, the World Tree linking the nine realms – a sign of life, destiny and balance.
This artwork reflects the sacred duality of Norse faith: the struggle between Hel and Valhalla, life and death, fear and courage – the eternal spirit of the North.
