The last few slides show my modular pieces closing completion, but I always start from quantity, my work table dilled with sketches fragments and scraps, through no thinking whatsoever I dilute, remove add flip turn combine until I end up with shapes that carry something. Not meaning, not reason, but feeling. Beginnings are always messy.
