Göteborg Film Festival is the premier film festival in the Nordics, attracting one of the world’s largest festival audiences. With a dedication to supporting filmmakers and pushing the boundaries of cinema, the festival offers a vibrant platform for professionals, filmmakers, and audiences. In 2026, the festival attracted over 287,000 visits, showcasing a diverse program of 266 films from 76 count

ries. The 2026 industry marketplace brought together 2,600 accredited industry delegates from 50 countries. Across TV Drama Vision and Nordic Film Market, 122 film and series projects were presented, alongside more than 600 meeting activations. The 50th Göteborg Film Festival will be held January 29 – February 7, 2027.
