What does it actually look like behind the scenes of a festival like Way Out West?

Thanks to Linnea Ljungmark and Women In Lighting, we got the chance to find out. We took a look not just behind, but underneath the stages, and talked to the lighting technicians and stage teams making everything happen.

Witnessing the inner workings of a major festival and speaking with the talented people who bring its incredible lighting to life, gave us a first-hand look at how our CRMX technology is being used in the field.

Behind the build at the DachüberKopf music festival in Germany 🌸

This year’s theme was ‘jungle’ and as part of that concept the organisers decided to develop wirelessly controlled kinetic lighting fixtures in the shape of large flowers.

DachüberKopf created 20 motorised blooms themselves from scratch and used LumenRadio’s TiMo RX radio module as a CRMX receiver.

The final result was impressive 🔥
