Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago we reached a point of no return and were faced with the impossible decision to postpone The Heat until 2027.
Several logistic related problems led us to a corner where there was just no way to catch up. For this and the lack of communication leading up to it, we apologize.
Although a loss, doing the first edition of an ambitious event as a half measure would've been equally (if not more) detrimental. This made us also realize that the only way to properly produce this event was to gain more time to make our vision come true.
With all that said, we also wanted to make sure we had some good news within the bad;
- the ENTIRE line-up of teachers and judges has agreed to participate in the new 2027 premiere edition!
- most of the logistical issues that could not be solved for 2026 has already been resolved for 2027!
- We've learnt the hard way to include a plan C, D and E in the planning phase, and now have a good timeline to employ these for the event.
We want to thank the artists that has put their trust in us for another go at making this happen!
The new dates for The Heat are 13-16 May, 2027, and we really can't wait for it. Stay tuned for future announcements.
