Salzer's Krukmakeri Hand made pottery from Värmland, Sweden My pottery is hand made using Swedish clay and glazes based on wooden ashes from my own fireplace.

It is made to be used, washed and used again. Not to stand as a decoration on a shelf and collect dust. The shapes are basic and sturdy, yet unique and timeless. The colours of the glazes reflect and harmonize with the ever-changing and subtle nuances of the nature around me.For me pottery is a livelihood, therapy and a way of keeping in touch with my past. My hope is that I can make someone’s favourite teacup or breakfast bowl that can stay with them over the years.
