This piece is built in layers. Thick, raw, unapologetic. The textures rise and fracture like cooled lava. Like stone weathered by centuries of wind and tide. A circular force holds it all together A quiet gravity at the center. Echoing cycles of erosion, creation and collapse.

I wanted the surface to feel unearthed rather than painted. Formed by something larger than the hand itself. The metallic tones catch the light like minerals beneath the earth’s crust and powerful up close.

It’s not just a painting.
It’s pressure made visible.
