THE SNÖRNIE JOURNEY:

We have not had alot of orders for customized boards lately but that won't stop us from bringing our lovely guests from up here to Torne Valley!

THE PROGRESS:

So far this year everything seems postponed.. But we are working harder than ever to make this season
-The Year Of The RootMoose-
a season to remember!

We have had some warm weather here lately (turning the baseless pow into a solid base) so now we are just waiting for more of the white gold before we get back to riding. While waiting we have been planning and preparing, shaping and shoveling...

We have no less than 3 SNÖRNIE JOURNEYS planned in Februari and March with various partners [more on this later].. and this time it’s in the hills surrounding our home, Rantajärvi!

have been shaping new boards and helping the local resort setting up and service their lift and harvest some runs so we can all enjoy Pullinki this year again! [Despite of everything it seems as they might open on the 5th Feb]

We also have a very exiting Roadtrip planned where we are joining forces with some friends to go on tour and showcase our boards at a few carefully selected resorts through out Sweden!

And naturally we can’t forget about Treeride... and we wont... but first we need to plan out the camps and the tour and find time for an event. Maby Treeride will be held on the road this year?.. We’ll see!

THE BOARDS:

The Shapeshifter is here and it’s awesome!

After making The WintersDick Board was so upset he would probably never get to try that shape himself he decided to copy the shape of The WintersDick before sending it to the customer.
After shaping was done started painting a colorful background while waiting for inspiration for some graphics... but after showing the background to and thinking it over they both decided to just let the background be the graphic as it really pops out and gives the board a very clean look!

We used rubber dots as grip for this board aswell but covered the whole board in them this time because is convinsed that this shape works just as well ”backwards”/”upside-down” as the ”right way” if the pow is deep enough! This is why wanted to try ot so bad and also how the name [The Shapeshifter] came about!

We might sell this board in used condition if it survives the season under

THE BOARDS:

The Octapussy Board is how we start off the second season of SNÖrnie!

The Octapussy is a true force of water (frozen or not) that both floats and handles incredebly well in low speeds and mellow sections. She is also surpricingly light and playful even though she is one of the widest boards we’ve made so far with her 36cm wide nose but still only has a 20cm wide tail...

The Octapussy [obviously] gets the name from the awesome graphic painted on the front but also from the channels in the base, shaped by that sort of looks like a p***y. Besides, we can’t have The WintersDick board in our line-up without making The Octapussy, it’s soon 2022 for christ sake!

The Octapussy has [for now] a grip or ”suction cups” made from rubber but this may be complemented with EVA-mat or more rubber if she is too slippery.

The Octapussy does not yet have a owner so if you or someone you know would like to own this monster peice, hit us with a DM!

Check this out! These camps are going to be the highlight of your winter and there is still some spots left in the other camp! You are more than welcome to have fun with us and chase some powder riding in the scenery what you can see in the video :)

Looks like this winter is good to spend on near by hills and fells! :)

SNÖrnie Boards have been taking part to create Nordic Powder Camps for you with Mint Tours and Lucky Ranch.

Riding is offered for all skill levels with guides and there is an opportunity to test our's and ILAHU Boards powsurfs. There is going to be good times, awesome powder turns, secret spots, beautiful nature, tasty food and a lot of the northern magic! Join for the shredding with us! :)

This weekend we are also going to be at the Arctic Weekend event in Sampokeskus, Rovaniemi. Come to visit and say hi !
