আজ ১৭ই মার্চ,আমাদের জন্য গৌরবের এবং স্মরনীয় একটি দিন। বিশেষ করে সুদানের মাটিতে আমরা করোনা এলার্ম থাকা সত্ত্বেও জাতির পিতা শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের জন্ম শত বার্ষিকী কিছুটা হলেও জাক-জমকভাবে করতে পেরেছি। সকালের পুষ্পস্তবক শেষে বিকালে এল ফাশের ক্যাম্পের কর্ণধার সম্মানিত DMS, UNAMID জনাব প্রেম জিত সিং (Prem Jeet Singh) কে দিয়ে বঙ্গবন্ধু ক্যাম্পের প্রবেশ তোড়ণ যার নামকরণ করা হয়েছে ''জয় বাংলা তোড়ণ" উদ্বোধন করা হয়। সন্ধ্যায় দারফুরের সকল সম্মানিত FPU কমান্ডারদের নিয়ে মুজিব বর্ষের কেক কাটা ও প্রীতিভোজ এবং সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজন করা হয়। মুজিব বর্ষের লোগো সম্বলিত দৃষ্টিনন্দন ক্রেস্ট বিতরণ করা হয়। আমরা সবাই মিলে জয় বাংলা ধ্বনিতে পুরো ক্যাম্প মুখরিত করি। জয় হোক "মুজিব বর্ষ"।

This is for the first time that any camp of Bangladesh Formed Police Unit at UN Peacekeeping Mission has been named after Bangabandhu

Today visited a team in our newly named camp “Bangabandhu Camp”. This team from Office for Peacekeeping Strategic Partnership (OPSP), HQ, New York. They arrived today to El Fasher and team consist: Director of OPSP – Jai Shanker MENON (team leader); Staff member of OPSP – Ludovic Nicolas GRENOUILLON (team member); Staff member of OPSP – Seck POUYE (team member); Chief of Supply Chain Planning Section - Andrei VESSELOV (team member). We demonstrated house guard by lady platoon, showed our activities in a power point presentation. After that they inspected our camp.

At 19th November, Nyala South Darfur HQ was handover to GOS. BANFPU played a vital role in that ceremony. Current rotation done a great job, that’s why Ag Police Commissioner Dr Sultan Temuri gave best performance certificate to BANFPU Commander

আজ UNAMID এর ২য় ক্ষমতাধর ব্যাক্তি তথা হাই অফিশিয়াল পারসন Deputy Joint Special Representative জনাব আনিতা কিকি আমাদের ক্যাম্পে পরিদর্শন ও ডিনারে অংশগ্রহনের উদ্দেশ্যে এসেছিলেন। সাথে এসেছিলেন UNAMID এর কিছু উর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তা, Head of Office, SMSO, UNDSS. আমাদের কাজে খুবই সন্তুষ্ট এবং নারী প্লাটুন থাকায় আরো বেশি খুশি উনি। সান্ধ্যভোজের পর আমার শান্তি রক্ষা কর্মী বাহিনী কর্তৃক মনোজ্ঞ সাংস্কৃতিক সন্ধ্যার আয়োজন করা হয়। পরবর্তীতে বাংলাদেশ পুলিশের পক্ষ থেকে একটি সুদৃশ্য ক্রেস্ট ও জাতির জনকের উপর লিখা এক সেট ইংরাজি বই উপহার দেয়া হয়। Today inspected our BANFPU camp by respected DJSR Ms Anita Kiki with his high official delegate team. She participated a gala dinner night and a cultural night with us. She expressed thanks for our overall performance. It was really amazing night to all of BANFPU members.

It’s unique day! Today we gave hundreds of biography related books about my leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to Nyala University’s library. Nyala University authorities took these books and gave thanks to Bangladesh Police for this type of donation. It’s not only donation, but also build up relation between Bangladesh and Sudan. আজ আমরা দক্ষিন দারফুরের নিয়ালা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে জাতির জনকের উপর লিখা প্রায় শতাধিক ইংরেজি ভাষায় লিখা বই দিলাম। এটা একক আমার পরিকল্পনায় বাস্তবায়ন করা হল। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অনেক ছাত্র এই বইগুলো পড়ে আমার দেশ, আমার জাতির জনক সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান লাভ করবে। হয়ত জীবন এর চলার পথে কোন বাংলাদেশী পেলে বলতেও পারে........তোমাদের দেশের কিছু ব্যক্তির কল্যানে তোমাদের দেশের স্থপতিকে জানি আমরা......আর তখনই স্বার্থকতা হবে আমার এই ক্ষুদ্র কিন্তু আবেগমাখা এই প্রচেষ্টা। Special thanks to Asst Professor Yasin, Din of Engineer faculty, Head of SLF Colonel Shukuri, SLO Major Ahmed ALfalahlal, FPUC Major Yousuf and my colleagues.
