So the plan was six nights in Key West, but then my brain decided to throw in a little panic party over the idea of having to get from Key West to the cruise port in three hours on embarkation day. Cue my executive decision to head back to Miami a day early. The perks of having a travel booking system at my fingertips meant that I found us a gorgeous hotel for an amazing price right near the cruise port

Honestly? Best. Decision. Ever. 🙌 The drive out of Key West was so slow. What should’ve been three hours ended up taking four and a half!

We dropped the hire car back at the airport, grabbed an Uber, and made our way to our next hotel: Gale Hotel & Residences Miami, right by Bayside. The hotel was gorgeous, all chic and shiny, with a rooftop pool overlooking the Kaseya Centre and a view of the cruise port in the distance.

Once we’d checked in and had a quick nose around the rooftop, we decided to stretch our legs with a wander. There’s a shopping area in Brickell, about a 20-minute walk away, so off we trotted… because, thanks to teenagers, all of our trips contain multiple stops at the mall!🛍️.

The mall was decent, but it was one of those indoor/outdoor multi story ones.
There was a crew from The fast and furious revving up their engines whilst underneath and oh my god….the noise🫨it was so loud that it felt like the building was shaking.
After that we made a quick exit and spotted a ‘Whole foods’ whilst on the way back to the hotel. We love a whole foods, it just makes you feel like you have done some good after eating from there😂We must have done 3 laps of the store before settling on what to grab, we ended up grabbing a few salads and a Tres Leches cake, which was sooo good🤤😍

🌴✨ So, we had arrived at Margaritaville, we had a two-bedroom apartment, and were enjoying the space— everyone spread out, everyone with their own bed (no arguing 😅). This place had so many free little perks going on throughout the day. I’ll share the full list in another post, but let’s just say I’m very happy we picked the perfect place to stay.

Now, Key West is basically two things, boats + booze. If you’re not into either, you may wonder what you are doing there…. Which is what we did at first😳We are so used to being on the move and always having something to do and somewhere to go, but we soon settled into island life after a day or two and were claiming it to be “5 0’clock somewhere” at noon everyday!!😉🍹
The options for boat trips are endless — snorkelling, fishing, kayaking, sandbar hopping… we joined a dolphin watching and sandbar snorkelling cruise and had the best day!

And then there’s Duval Street, strip of lively bars and restaurants all with live music all day.The vibe is so good here, kids are welcome in most places until at certain time and even if you’re not bar-hopping, it’s the best place for people-watching!

Each night the whole island seems to migrate to Mallory Square for the sunset festival. Street performers, artists, jugglers, magicians, and my favourite thing in the world….watching the sunset 🌅

Key west is definitely a slower pace of life, and its one that we are here for, it’s no wonder people fall in love with it here😍

Miami - Key West road trip 🚗🌴

So Monday morning rolled around and it was time to wave goodbye to our teeny tiny room in Miami and head down to Key West. Bags packed, car loaded, and obviously we couldn’t hit the road without a quick Acai bowl stop😋🤤

Bella spotted a Crumbl Cookie on the map and, well… who are we to say no? We grabbed a box of four thinking they’d last us a couple of days. They barely lasted four minutes. Honestly, you’d think we hadn’t eaten in weeks — cookie carnage in a Jeep!🍪😂

I decided to walk off my sugar high with a little wander around Dollar tree (USA version of Poundland on steroids) when Bella decided to throw all sorts of teenage girl attitude at me🤨this had been going on since yesterday and i may have become “that mum” in the middle of Dollar tree…..bloody kids🙈
We made it to Marathon and pulled into Robbie’s. This place was so cool, it has a bar, restaurant, a store with handmade signs and a pier where you can feed the Tarpon. You buy a bucket of fish, dangle it over the edge and then giant tarpons leap out like something straight out of Jaws. There were screams, splashes, and us laughing way too hard at people being terrorised by fish!🐟🤣.

Finally made it to Key West around 4pm and checked into the gorgeous Margaritaville beach house Resort. This time we had a Two-bedroom apartment….space to breathe🙌🏽everyone had their own bed and not one, but two bathrooms, I was feeling so spoilt after being in a shoebox with three other family members for three nights!

Little travel blog thingy Day 1

We were up at 4:45am (a lie-in by our usual 3am USA first morning standards 🙌). Tried to chill, but when you’re in a hotel room the size of a shoebox, chilling turns into cabin fever

We hit the free breakfast cart (grabbed muffins, fruit and juice) and made our way to the beach to catch the sunrise. Stunning!🌅

Had a walk down the Beach, found the iconic Versace mansion (still undecided on dinner plans there… will check if they do pizza for the kids 🙈). Then headed to the harbour where I started mentally spending my future lottery winnings on yachts. As you do.😂

Decided to jump on the hop-on hop-off bus to explore Wynwood and Little Havana. We purchased tickets from the bus rep at the bus stop but I later learned that I could’ve saved £60 booking it through my own travel systems 🤯. Wynwood’s street art was fab from the top deck, so we stayed onboard and hopped off at Little Havana for lunch at a cute spot with actual chickens roaming around. The food was ok, But the strawberry mojitos were 10/10 🍓🍹

We watched the old guys in Domino Park and had a good wander around, even got stew Salsa dancing….for just 30 seconds but I will take that!
Then the mojito + dehydration combo hit me hard, so it was back to the hotel to chill for a bit.

Refreshed and ready, we tried to catch the bus to Bayside Marketplace… only to realise the last one left at 4pm. It was 5:20. Brilliant.Thank god for Uber $23 and 15 minutes later we arrived at Bayside

Bayside was buzzing! Live music, shops, restaurants and big crowds!
After spending 45 minutes with Bella in the coldest Victoria’s Secret store ever…..I actually had blue lips!
She managed to get 5 new body sprays for $35 so totally worth me turning ice for!
We dodged the crowds and grabbed a of pizza bigger than our heads each🍕 before calling it a night.

Day 1 = jet lag, mojitos, missed buses and mega pizza!

Little travel blog thingy
Heathrow-Miami, part 2 ☀️

We chose a Jeep as our hire car for this trip as we would be doing a lot of driving, we got to choose which one from the parking garage, there were around 5 in the line up so we went for dark grey, It was lush!

Quick 30-minute cruise from the airport later, we arrived at our hotel—The Moxy.
Just two blocks from Ocean drive and close to a whole lot of temptation (shopping, food, vibes—perfect!)

We ditched our bags in the world’s smallest hotel room and made a beeline for South Beach. We wasn’t expecting such turquoise water and soft sand just like it is on the gulf coast, we couldn’t resist a quick dip in the sea, it was so warm!

After a little wander and a lot of posing like locals (spoiler: we were 100% giving tourist energy), we headed back to the hotel for dinner at the hotel Restaurant. Food was fab but expensive!💰

But after a full travel day and one too many “are we there yet?” moments, we all hit a wall and decided it was time to call it a night.

Stay tuned for our first full day in Miami🌴👀

Have you been wondering what this business is really like?

The community behind it is nothing short of incredible. Every day, I’m surrounded by inspiring women (and some amazing men too!) who are all building a life of freedom, purpose, and possibility.

You’ve heard my story — but what moves me most are the stories of others. This business hasn’t just created income; it’s brought confidence, freedom, and in some cases, truly changed lives.

If something inside you is saying there’s more out there for me, this could be your sign.
