🔊 Saudi Arabia’s entertainment sector welcomed more than 89 million visitors in 2025.

According to the General Entertainment Authority, the sector hosted 1,690 events across 75,661 event days, with 6,778 companies participating in entertainment activities throughout the year.

As demand grows across concerts, festivals, theme parks, gaming and immersive experiences, so does the need for expertise across production, technology, event operations and safety.

📢 New dates announced for SLS Expo.

Following careful consideration with our exhibitors, partners and key stakeholders, Saudi Light and Sound Expo will now take place from 1 - 3 June 2027 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre (RFECC).

Moving to June 2027 brings together the full weight of international and regional participation, with the senior decision-makers and buyers that make SLS Expo valuable for everyone involved.

All existing registrations and exhibitor commitments will automatically transfer to the new dates.

We look forward to welcoming the industry to Riyadh in June 2027.

One of the region's largest Arabic drama productions just got the green light, and it's a signal of where Saudi's production industry is heading.

Announced by General Entertainment Authority and produced by SELA, Al Ameer is set to become one of the region’s largest Arabic drama productions, bringing together international directors, global production teams, large-scale action sequences, and advanced studio facilities across Riyadh and Cairo.

With Ahmed Ezz leading an international cast, the series reflects Saudi Arabia’s growing investment in high-end entertainment production and world-class infrastructure.

Productions at this scale pull serious resources with them. Lighting, sound, staging, AV, broadcast infrastructure. The demand is real and it's growing.
