If you could shape the future by rediscovering the past – what would you see?
Rwanda and other African nations still feel the effects of colonialism and postcolonial structures are an ongoing reality. None of us is able to change the past, but we can all learn from it in order to build a better future.
“THE FUTURE IS NOW” is a project on Afrofuturism that comprises Spoken Word, Poetry, Beat-boxing, Hip Hop and other forms of art. It is a platform where every story can be told and heard.
We trust that our imagination is the first step towards a future where no one is held back by their fears of what they can become.
Everybody is welcome to join this project, to observe, to reflect, to create and to contribute. We are all part of the future, and as the Afrofuturist movement continues to flourish, The Future Is Now!
