Today we announced Fusion Studio 17.3.2 Update which adds improved stability when using tracker modifiers. This means you can more reliably adjust images when creating animation sequences with multiple changing parameters.

This update also provides a more accurate display of images when using the planar transform tool so that when you adjust the size or position of smaller shapes or images using this tool, they will display correctly, without artifacts. In addition, better consistency when saving adjustments to your Fusion settings means your project will now always appear as you last saved it, making it faster and easier to get working.

Today we announced DaVinci Resolve 17.3.2 Update which adds additional playback support for decoding and grading Blackmagic RAW 2.2 clips.

This update also adds better stability when using the color warper tool, enabling you to more confidently and quickly adjust the color and contrast of your images during the grading process. Improvements to the wide gamut color space give you a more accurate representation of your high definition images so you can be confident that highlights are displaying correctly.

Fairlight will now consistently recall clip names entered when recording audio, making it faster and easier to find specific clips when editing and mixing your soundtrack. Additionally, this update adds more reliable loading of Fairlight EQ and automation adjustments when opening timelines. This means you can be confident that every time you open your project, any audio adjustments you’ve made previously will load correctly.

Today we released Blackmagic Video Assist 3.5 update which adds support for LCD calibration on Video Assist 3G and 12G HDR models. This allows you to adjust the color temperature of your screen in the setup menu, giving you greater confidence when monitoring your footage on set that images are displayed accurately.

In addition, this update adds support for HDR override on Video Assist 12G HDR models. This means if the camera or video source is incorrectly tagging HDR clips, you can manually override the HDR metadata ensuring your footage is accurately tagged for future post production work or for display on a screen that doesn’t support HDR playback.

This update also provides additional Blackmagic RAW support for the 5 inch and 7 inch Video Assist 12G HDR models when shooting with Fujifilm GFX100 and GFX100S cameras, as well as Panasonic Lumix GH5S, BGH1and DC-BS1H models. This means when recording Blackmagic RAW with these cameras using Video Assist 12G HDR, you can save camera settings in metadata so you can set ISO, white balance and exposure, then override them later while editing. This requires installation of the Blackmagic RAW 2.2 and DaVinci Resolve 17.3.2 updates to access the files on your computer.

Today we released Videohub 7.0.5 Update, which improves Videohub setup utility functionality for GPI and Tally Interface. This means that the Videohub setup utility can recall and display the crosspoint switches configured for the GPI and Tally Interface, allowing you to easily review the connections or make any changes.

Today we announced DaVinci Resolve 17.3.1 update which allows you to combine multiple audio files from the Fairlight page and export them as one interleaved broadcast wave file. This means that you can now choose to combine different audio sources such as a stereo pair and a 5.1 multichannel clip and export them as a single interleaved file. Once transferred to another system, they will import as their original separate file groupings, making for easier workflow collaboration on audio projects.

Additionally, Windows users can now consistently save YouTube and Vimeo sign in credentials making it faster to export directly to these platforms from DaVinci Resolve. This update also adds the ability to simply middle click your tablet’s pen while over a clip in the gallery to copy its grade to the current shot in the viewer, speeding up your color grading workflow.

You’ll also get improved stability when adding stills to the memories section of the gallery meaning you can more confidently and quickly store and retrieve variations of grades you’re working on, as well as improved Apple ProRes 4444 processing on Apple Mac M1 models, giving you a more reliable rendering workflow.

На днях правительство РФ приняло решение поддержать отечественных кинопроизводителей, выделив субсидии для перевода российского кино на иностранные языки.

29 августа в 19:00 в эфире «Радио России» известный аудиовизуальный переводчик, генеральный директор «РуФилмс» Алексей Козуляев будет рассказывать о том, как успех картины зависит от хорошего перевода.
