Almost a sold-out show with attendance of 5k people in the very heart of mother Russia by the name of Kremlin, in Kremlin Palace, to be precise, the grandest and most prestigious venue of Russian Federation. This show, after Kremlin success, will definitely go on. After successful showin in mid Russia (Volga region) the tour will continue in Siberia and Urals region in spring 2017.

St.Patrick's Day Music Festival. 14-03-2015
The biggest folksy day on Earth, Russia being not the exception. That night featured the godfather of Russian (Soviet) rock'n'roll and master of fusion Boris Grebenschikov and his 'Aquarium', fellow brutal Irish folksters 'Cruachan', biggest Russian folk rock acts like 'Troll Gnet El' ('A troll is bending a fur tree') and 'Tintal', and of course, a crowd of 1,500 unsober lepricauns, fairies, elves and all other fantastic beasts, easy to find by detour to the bar. And, by the way...what shall we do with drunken sailor after all???

Главный фолк-день на планете. И Россия в этом смысле не исключение. ДСП — это в некотором роде Первомай для каждого настоящего русского кельта, ирландца, толкиниста, фолкера и просто человека в юбке, зашедшего выпить много пива. 7-часовую программу вечера возглавляли мастер-джедай Борис Гребенщеков, брутальные ирландские фолкеры Cruachan и передовые российские фолк-рок коллективы в лице ТГЕ и Tintal...и, все же, что конкретно делать с пьяным матросом?

Accept tour 2013.
Another piece of recollection. Russian-Ukrainian tour of Accept, the biggest Germany export metal act. It's always a great honour and pleasure to work with such living avatar of a legend and professionals of highest level, the management, the road crew, and of course musicians themselves. 'This band always delivers'. The highlight of this tour was Donetzk, 2,000+ tickets sold in less than a month; there would have been more, far more if not for a forced change of local promoter which caused a late start of advertising and promotion. Donetzk was all fun, from the show itself to the customer officer on band's arrival, a guy in his thirties, talking to his younger comerade: 'Wow! They have arrived? - Who? - Accept! Themselves! - Who? - Accept! Are you nuts?' and then he starts to hum 'Smoke on the water'. But now it also imbued with bitter thoughts when you stsrt to think of such places, as the venue, 'Druzhba' Palace of sports, or Donetzk airport, then newly made posh terminal, now laid in ruins. The bloody civil war has to be stopped!!!

Российско-украинский тур Accept 2013.

Еще немного ретроспективы. 2013-й, турне Accept, самый значительный междунаролный «метал» продукт, когда-либо производившийся в Германии. Для любого промоутера это всегда большая честь — и удовольствие — работать с живым воплощением слова «легенда», и профессионалами высочайшего уровня: будь то административный штаб, техники или, разумеется, сами музыканты. «Эта группа никогда не снижает планку».
Самым запоминающимся моментом того тура был Донецк, бодро встретивший в лице таможеника в аэропорту, на вид лет тридцати, просвещавшего своего молодого коллегу: «ОНИ прилетели! - Кто «они»? - Ты что?? Accept! Сами! - Кто? - Accept! - Ну ты что!». И запел «Smoke on the water”. Меньше чем за месяц продаж (позднее начало рекламной компанией было вызвано сменой промоутера) было продано свыше 2,000 билетов. ...сегодня же аэропорт Донецка — тогда свежеотстроенный красавец — в руинах, город под обстрелом, концерты западных групп — это из другого мира. Бессмысленная гражданская война должна быть остановлена!

Paul Di'Anno (ex-Iron Maiden, UK), the first Russian tour, September-October 2005. Words 'crazy' and 'rock star' do mutually go along very well indeed but of all the constellation of M***erf**ker there's a few brightest psychos who are as mad as to make words 'rock musician' sound almost like a 'eu**ch'. One of such is Mr. Paul Martin Andrews best known to a few dozens millions of planet earth inhabitants except to his mother as Paul Di'Anno, original singer of greatest heavy metal band ever, Iron Maiden. That was the first among many other tours that followed with Paul on ex-USSR territory (and also Finland, CZ Republic and Slovakia), on which literally tens of thousands kms were covered, from Vladivostok in Russian Far East to Prague in the West and from Arkhangelsk in the North to Sevastopol in the South, more than 80 shows played and lots of stories born (not) to tell your grandchildren of booze, t**s, heavy metal, mysteries, imagination, disguises, blessings and curses, of course. And booze, again, yes, please. Paul's case was the finest example of the idea that popularity is not only a thing dependent on time but also on territory and if you are blessed with a gift of proper name, you can tour 'your' territory intensely for many a year. …that tour, in particular ended in 'Sports Arena' in Donetzk, biggest venue of the city and was witnessed by 1,400 people. / Paul Di'Anno (ex-Iron Maiden). Первый российский тур, сентябрь-октябрь 2005. Все животные равны, все рок-музыканты — сумасшедшие, но отдельные особи — форменные кавалеры ордена Кащенко, на всю голову. (Послевкусие от работы с такими остается на всю жизнь.) Один из таких персонажей — Пол Мартин Эндрюс, известный нескольким десятков миллионов человек, за исключением своей мамы, как Пол ДиАнно, первый вокалист крупнейшей хэви-метал группы в истории, Iron Maiden. Это был первый в череде многих туров, организованных для Пола на территории СССР (а также Словакии, Чехии и Финляндии), за время которых было буквально покрыты расстояния в десятки тысяч километров, от Праги и Калининграда до Владивостока и от Архангельска до Севастополя и Сочи. Сыграно свыше 80 концертов и поглощено такое количество рок-н-ролла и пива, о котором лучше не рассказывать внукам. Случай ДиАнно был наглядным примером того, что популярность — это штука, зависимая не только от времени, но и от территории, и если в твоем багаже есть правильное имя, ты можешь успешно гастролировать по «своей» территории многие и многие годы. ...последний из концертов того тура, например, проходил на крупнейшей закрытой площадке Донецка, Дворце спорта «Дружба» при аудитории 1400 человек.

Grave Digger (Germany), 06-27-2004, 'Tochka' club, Moscow. Attendance: 900 people. This was the second among many of shows organized for this juggernaut of German heavy metal in a 10-years span of friendship and co-operation. Although Grave Digger is always a 'Gut Deutsch Qualität', in 100% cases that show was probably the most remarkable: due to the effort put in it, which paid off in a form heavily packed mosh pit (although the show happened during Euro 2014 and looked like every specimen of male gender was hardly attached to his tv screen) and the hot atmosphere in the club – that was the first heavy-weight show in soon-to-become-legendary 'Tochka' club and a ventilation system in a newly open club failed in its duties. So everyone and everything was sweating hard. And above all, the band delivered a bloody gorgeous performance, being then probably both at the height of its form and at the van of all German metal. Второй, и, пожалуй, самый запоминающийся концерт немецкого хэви-металлического джаггернота (а за 10 лет сотрудничества их было немало!) Grave Digger – это всегда «гут дойче кволитет», но в тот раз они были особенно хороши. Группа тогда пребывала на пике формы — и, наверно, в те годы по качеству материала и уровню исполнительского мастерства была первой в лиге немецкого хэви-метал. В организацию концерта было вложено нимало усилий — что оправдало себя в виде полностью забитого партера — несмотря на то, что в те дни проходил финала чемпионата Европы по футболу — и все мужское население единодушно примкнуло к телевизорам. Для клуба «Точка», приобретшим вскорости культовый статус, это был первый концерт иностранных исполнителей такого калибра, а на дворе был жаркий июнь, и вентиляция в клубе форменно капитулировала. Потом были покрыты не просто все, а всё и вся.

Kari Rueslatten (Norway), Ethnika project (Russia), WaterWind (Russia), Butterfly Temple (Russia), 10-25-2003, 'Roxy' club, Moscow. Attendance: 800 people. The toughest concert. (Ever. )) Thanx to a partial weirdo who preferred to remain anonymous for one reason or another but reported to the police of 'skinhead party', although CSKA ('Red Army' football club) were playing the same night just a few stops down the same metro line. (And who cared that two of the bands didn't even use electric but traditional only, instruments that's a pure indication of oi!, ska and everything that bears a 1488 mark.) As a result, the venue was overcrowded with policemen, incl a few really big cheeses and the show on the brink of cancellation. The show was eventually saved by the grace of the promoters' communicative skills and more subtle qualities, such as the knowing of right telephone numbers. Kari's performance, in particular, was amazing, and the last before returning on stage in 2014, if our knowledge is correct. / Кари Руеслаттен (Норвегия), Ethnika project (Россия), Ветер Воды (Россия), Butterfly Temple (Россия), 25 октября 2003, клуб 'Roxy', Москва. Сборы: 800 чел. Самый сложный концерт — благодаря некоему анониму, отзвонившемуся в 02 о готовящемся «мероприятии скинхедов». Невзирая на то, что в тот вечер в нескольких остановках по той же ветке играл ЦСКА, в клубе собралась половина милиции города, включая два автобуса с ОМОНом и лично командира РУВД ЦАО. (Абсурдности ситуации добавляло то обстоятельство, что две из заявленных групп были сугубо фолковыми и играли почти исключительно на народных инструментах.) Концерт удалось отстоять с большим трудом: благодаря коммуникативным навыкам и телефонной книжке. Гвоздем программы было выступление божественной Кари — последнее перед уходом в длительный творческий анабиоз, который продлился до 2014 года.

Blind Guardian (Germany), 05-21-2002, Sports Hall, Nizhniy Novgorod, 05-25-2002 'Druzhba' Sports Hall, Moscow Olympic Stadium; 10-27-2002 Sports Arena Moscow Olympic Stadium. Attendance: 1000/2500/2000. A long anticipated journey to the dark of Russian Federation of one of Europe's biggest and finest metal acts ever. ('We were afraid to go to Russia as all we see about it on TV is crime, mafia and again, crime. But we decided to go and check ourselves' © Hansi Kursch). 2 shows in a row in half a year in Moscow (next to unprecedented when Moscow is mentioned). First one was fully and utterly sold-out and rumors have it there was tears spotted in Hansi's eyes on 'The Bard's Song' when The Bard von Munchhausen was outsang by the crowd; the second one was shadowed by terrorist attack @ 'Nord Ost' musical which happened 3 days prior to the show which led to enormous drop of the last days pre-sales and almost disaster @ doors, but still the sales figures indicated 2,000 which is far from the bad and a dizzy height for many other artists. / Blind Guardian (Германия): 21 мая 2002, Дворец спорта, Нижний Новгород; 22 мая 2002, УСЗ «Дружба», Москва; 27 октября 2002, Малая спортивная арена, Лужники. «Долгожданное путешествие» во тьму Российской Федерации одной из крупнейших и самых ярких групп европейского хэви-метал. («Мы боялись ехать в Россию: все, что мы слышим о России по телевизору, это криминал, мафия и еще раз криминал. Но мы решили в итоге поехать и посмотреть сами». Ханзи Керш) 2 концерта за полгода в Москве — почти-то беспрецендентное событие для Москвы. 1-й из двух концертов был отмечен полным аншлагом в УСЗ «Дружба» в мае (все билеты были проданы за две недели до концерта). 2-й был омрачен терактом в «Норд-осте», случившимся за 3 дня до концерта — что повлекло катастрофическое падение продаж в последние дни. В итоге аудитория составила 2000 человек, что неплохо само по себе и головокружительный успех для многих других артистов рангом пониже.

Moonspell (Portugal), 02-22-2003, 'Moscow Youth Palace', Moscow. Attendance: 2,000. The second coming of extremely popular in Russia Portuguese dark metallers was marked by an almost packed hall, rabelaisian pre- and after parties with guys and 140kilos of band's equipment leftover in 'Sheremetyevo' Moscow airport due to the 'non-friendly' airport authorities @ the check-in. (Miraculously shipped off to the band in a few days time, just to arrive at time for the recording of 'The Antidote' album.) / Moonspell (Португалия), МДМ, Москва, 22 февраля 2003. Сборы: 2000 чел. Второе пришествие на русскую землю мрачных португальских металлистов. Было отмечено практически полным залом, грандиозными попойками (ака «пре-парти» и «афтерпарти») с и 140 кг оборудования, не пропущенного злобными людьми в зеленых мундирах на регистрации в «Шереметьево». (Последнее было чудесным образом отправлено через «Шереметьево карго» несколькими днями спустя, аккурат вовремя для записи альбома 'The Antidote', которая начиналась через 2 недели в Финляндии.)
