MOST Theatre

MOST Theatre MOST Theatre is a youth theatre which was founded in 1999 on the basis of the Theatre of Moscow Stat During this period he staged over 40 performances.

MOST Theatre was founded in 1999 on the basis of the Theatre of Moscow State University, the legendary theatre founded by R.Bykov in 1958. The new theatre MOST got status of the state theatre and inherited spirit and traditions of the Theatre of MSU, where many Russian cultural workers began their career of artists. The most bright artists of that period are M.Zakharov, I.Savvina, A.Demidova, R.Viktyuk and many others. The both theatres (the Theatre of MSU and afterwards the Theatre MOST) has been headed by E.Slavutin, since 1985. MOST is a theatre of young actors, avant-garde choreography and its own music. The special feature of the theatre is that professional actors and MOST’s drama school students play together. MOST Theatre is the organizer of Moscow International Student Theatre Festival and other bright events in Moscow. Since 2011 MOST is a member of International University Theatre Association (AITU-IUTA).
