Latvia’s internationally acclaimed soprano Kristine Opolais brings together two outstanding artists of the world opera stage: the legendary Plácido Domingo, performing in Latvia for the first time in his career, and celebrated American tenor Michael Fabiano, also making his Latvian debut.

A gala programme of operatic arias and large-scale works for voice, choir, and orchestra - an evening shaped by dramatic power, vocal brilliance, and rare artistic presence.

On July 29, I will be delighted to welcome you to my Gala Concert at Dzintari Concert Hall, where I will share the stage with Plácido Domingo and Michael Fabiano, accompanied by the Festival Orchestra and Riga Chamber Choir “Ave Sol” under the baton of Maestro Valentin Uryupin

For opera lovers, this will be a rare opportunity to witness a truly exceptional gathering of artists and to share an evening with Plácido Domingo, one of the greatest opera singers of the history.

I am especially happy that a long-held dream of mine is finally coming true — welcoming Plácido Domingo to perform at my gala concert in Latvia.

I am equally delighted that Michael Fabiano will make his Latvian debut as part of this special evening, offering audiences the opportunity to discover one of the most compelling tenor voices of his generation.

I look forward to sharing this unforgettable night with all of you.
