Galeria Euro Foto Art fost fondată în anul 1990 din inițiativa artistului fotograf Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP. Primul sediul al Galeriei ”Foto Art” oținut prin bunăvoința Primăriei municipilui Oradea a fost în Centrul Civic, apoi la Clubul Artistic ”Constructorul” și în final sediul propriu s-a mutat pe strada Moscovei nr. 3, situat în spatele Teatrului de Stat Oradea. Până la data de 31 iulie 2020 este administrat de către Clubul Fotografic ”Nufărul” Oradea. Din data de 01 august 2009 galeria se mută cu sprijinul Consiliului județean Bihor și al Primăriei municipilui Oradea în noul sediu din Oradea, Piața 1 Decembrie nr. 12, trece în administrarea Asociației Internaționale ”Euro Foto Art” și preia numele de Galeria ”Euro Foto Art”.
Este cea mai longevivă Galerie permanentă de artă fotografică din România, în care au fost vernisate 585 de expoziții ale artiștilor fotografi din Europa, Asia, SUA, Africa de Sud și Noua Zeelendă. Publicul vizitator a avut posibilitatea de a viziona în condiții de gratuitate peste 45.000 de fotografii artistice alb-negru și color.
Pentru meritele deosebite obținute în promovarea artei fotografice universale, galeria a fost declarată la data de 14 mai 2019 la Belfast (Irlanda de Nord) de către Federația Internațională de Artă Fotografică (FIAP) recunoscută de UNESCO: Centru Expozițional FIAP Oradea – România (cel de al 17-lea din lume).
Înaugurarea Centru Expozițional FIAP Oradea – România a avut loc la data de 06 decembrie 2019, în prezența vicepreședintelui FIAP și director ale Centrelor Expoziționale FIAP Joan Burgues Martisella din Andorra, secretarului general FIAP Ioannis Likouris din Grecia și a președintelui de onoare a Federației Germane de Fotografie Georg S. Holzmann. La vernisajele organizate au participat pe lângă sute de artiști fotografi expozanți din mai multe țări Europene, SUA, Noua Zeelandă, Japonia și China, respectiv reprezentanții Ambasadelor acreditați în România din mai multe țări Europene, precum și din Africa de Sud, China, India, Peru etc.
În cei 30 de ani de existență Galeria ”Euro Foto Art” a devenit o Ambasadă Culturală a municipiului Oradea, județului Bihor al României în intreaga Lume.
The Euro Foto Art Gallery was founded in 1990 on the initiative of Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP photographer. The first headquarters of the “Foto Art” Gallery, obtained by the goodwill of the Oradea City Hall, were in the Civic Center, then at the “Constructorul” Artistic Club and finally the headquarters have moved to Moscovei Street no. 3, located behind the Oradea State Theater. Until July 31, 2020, it is managed by the Photographic Club “Nufărul” Oradea. From August 1, 2009 the gallery moves with the support of Bihor County Council and Oradea City Hall to the new headquarters in Oradea, 1 December Square no. 12, passes into the administration of the International Association "Euro Foto Art" and takes the name of the Gallery "Euro Foto Art".
It is the longest-lived Permanent Gallery of Photographic Art in Romania, where 585 exhibitions of photographers from Europe, Asia, USA, South Africa and New Zealand were opened. The visiting public had the opportunity to view free of charge over 45,000 black and white and color artistic photographs.
For the special merits obtained in the promotion of universal photographic art, the gallery was declared on May 14, 2019 in Belfast (Northern Ireland) by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) recognized by UNESCO: FIAP Exhibition Center Oradea - Romania (the 17th in the world).
The inauguration of FIAP Exhibition Center Oradea - Romania took place on December 6, 2019, in the presence of FIAP Vice President and Director of FIAP Exhibition Centers Joan Burgues Martisella of Andorra, FIAP Secretary General Ioannis Likouris of Greece and Honorary President of the German Federation of Photography Georg S. Holzmann. In addition to hundreds of artists, exhibitors from several European countries, the USA, New Zealand, Japan and China, respectively the representatives of the Embassies accredited in Romania from several European countries, as well as from South Africa, China, India, Peru etc. participated in the openings organized in Oradea (RO).
In the 30 years of its existence, the "Euro Photo Art" Gallery has become a Cultural Embassy of Oradea, Bihor County of Romania worldwide.
Az Euro Foto Művészeti Galériát 1990-ben alapították Tóth István István AFIAP fotóművész kezdeményezésére. A „Foto Art” galéria első székhelye, amely, a Civic Centerben volt, a „Constructorul” Művészeti Klubban, végül a nagyvárad városháza jóindulatából a Moscovei 3 utcába költözött, mely a Nagyvárad Állami Színháza mögött található. 2020. július 31-ig a Nagyvárad Fotográfusok "Tavirózsa" Klub irányítása alatt áll. 2009. augusztus 1-jétől a galéria Bihar megyei Tanács és Nagyvárad Városháza támogatásával költözik az új székhelyére, Nagyváradra, a December 1-i tér 12. száma alá. Ekkor kerül át az „Euro Foto Art” Nemzetközi Egyesület igazgatóságába, és a „Euro Foto Art” galéria nevét veszi át.
Ez a leghosszabb életű állandó fotográfiai galéria Romániában, ahol 585 fotóművészeti tárlatot nyitottak meg Európából, Ázsiából, az USA-ból, Dél-Afrikából és Új-Zélandról. A látogató közönségnek lehetősége volt ingyenesen megtekinteni több mint 45 000 fekete-fehér és színes fotóművészeti alkotásokat.
Az egyetemes fotóművészet előmozdításában elért különleges érdemekért a galériát 2019. május 14-én Belfastban (Észak-Írország) az UNESCO által elismert Fotóművészeti Nemzetközi Szövetség (FIAP): FIAP kiállítási központnak hirdette ki (a 17. a világon).
A Nagyvárad - Románia FIAP Kiállítási Központjának megnyitására 2019 december 6-án került sor, a FIAP alelnöke és a FIAP Kiállítási Központok igazgatója, Joan Burgues Martisella (Andorra), a FIAP főtitkára, Ioannis Likouris (Görögország) és a Német Fotószövetség tiszteletbeli elnök Georg S. Holzmann jelenlétében. A megnyitókon több száz kiállító fotóművész vett részt több európai országból, az USA-ból, Új-Zélandról, Japánból és Kínából, valamint a Romániában akkreditált nagykövetségek képviselői több európai országból, Dél-Afrikából, Kínából, Indiából, Peru stb.
A fennállás 30 évében az "Euro Foto Art" Galéria Nagyvárad, Bihar megye és Románia , Kulturális Nagykövetségévé vált.
