Elena-Cosmina Georgescu

Pictor Roman Contemporan Elena - Cosmina Georgescu was born in 1992, in Curtea de Argeș/ Romania.

She attended the Theological Seminary Neagoe Voda Basarab Orthodox High School, Cultural Heritage section, from 2007 to 2011, and she graduated with the diploma of technician, for artistic techniques. Then she spent 3 years studying psychology during 2011 - 2014 but left her bachelor's degree studies in order to paint on her own (self-learner). She explored new techniques and materials, painted on

clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, glass, wood, porcelain, and clay, but decided to abandon these experiments. Her first solo exhibition was in Buzau, Romania, in 2018, and it was called ''Good thing". In 2019 she joined a group of painters and restores a church, works a month and she left again, being convinced that her way was another, so she devoted herself to painting in her studio. In 2020 she begins to work on her first collection intituled ''Poem of the Death". Then continuing with two other collections: ''Angels in Town" and ''God, The Creation". The next solo exhibition it's called ''Birthplace" in Curtea de Arges, Romania, 2021. Currently, she paints in her studio situated in Curtea de Argeș, Romania.
