Next year, we celebrate 15 editions of Jazz in the Park with our first headliner: Kamasi Washington 🎷

One of the biggest names in modern jazz, Kamasi is a two-time Grammy winner with five total nominations as a saxophonist and composer. His music mixes jazz with soul, hip-hop, and cinematic orchestral sound.

He gained wider recognition through his work on Kendrick Lamar's 𝘛𝘰 𝘗𝘪𝘮𝘱 𝘢 𝘉𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘭𝘺, and has been carving his own path ever since.

This isn't Kamasi's first time on our lineup, just his first time actually performing. The pandemic postponed this moment, but now we're happy it's finally happening.

For the first time in Romania: 𝗞𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗜 𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗢𝗡 🎷

To celebrate 15 editions of Jazz in the Park, we are happy to have one of the biggest modern jazz artists get on our stage.

This isn't Kamasi's first time on our lineup, just his first time actually performing. Right after being named Best Small Festival in Europe in 2019, we booked what was probably our best lineup ever. The pandemic put those plans on hold, but it's also what brought us here today, finally getting Kamasi to perform in our Ethnographic Park.

Biletele la Jazz in the Park acoperă cam 40-50% din bugetul festivalului. Sunt, practic, coloana vertebrală a evenimentului. De la trecerea pe bilete și abonamente, ne-am dorit ca festivalul să rămână accesibil, și asta nu se schimbă.

În ultimul articol am pus cap la cap toată politica de prețuri pentru anul ăsta. E felul nostru de a vă arăta că apreciem încrederea pe care ne-o oferiți.

Aceștia suntem noi, o parte din echipa care face Jazz in the Park să se întâmple. Vrem să îți mulțumim pentru weekendul trecut! 🖤

Pentru 3 zile de festival ne pregătim un an întreg, alături de zeci de oameni care fac din parc casa noastră pentru un weekend. Acum strângem parcul, să îl lăsăm cm l-am găsit. Și deja ne gândim la ediția aniversară.

Ne-ar ajuta mult un feedback din partea ta, să știm ce a mers bine și ce putem face mai bine la anul. 🙂
