โจ Our UAD Cluj journey at the BIP in Rome, hosted by Museo Vite di IMI โ Internati Militari Italiani โจ
As part of the Erasmus+ program, we collaborated with students from different universities, exploring the history of deportees, deserters, fascism, and the devastating effects of WWII on society.
Each UAD team brought its own creative perspective, with our students representing different disciplines:
โข For the Comics section, coordinated by lecturer Alice Iliescu, students Lorena Maxim and Roberta Gaspar worked on a graphic novel project. Together with Erasmus colleagues, they visually documented this historical period using the museumโs archives, library, and, most importantly, the human connections we built along the way. ๐๏ธ๐๐ค
โข The photo-video team, coordinated by Andrei Budescu, with students and , captured the journey in images and film, creating a visual testimony of our collective experience. ๐ธ๐ฌ
โข The painting team, led by Andrei Ciurdarescu, with students and .ilies, engaged in transforming archival research and personal stories into symbolic compositions, reflecting memory, resilience, and the human side of history. ๐จโจ
The project in Rome was coordinated by Prof. Cinzia Pierantonelli, who guided us and showed us the historical context of the Museo Vite di IMI.
Beyond the research and creative work, we also enjoyed discovering Romeโs rich cultural and historical heritage ๐ฎ๐นโจ
A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Ienei Doina for all the wonderful experiences she has offered us through the Erasmus program, and to Mrs. Lili Nosa, UAD Erasmus + Office Coordinator, for her support and guidance. ๐
