🔥TZF 2026: DJ RAFFRO 🔥

Straight from 🇧🇷 (but already 50% romanian 😌), our dear friend Raffro is joining us at TZF for the 3rd time!!!

DJ since 1987, Raffro began his journey in Rio de Janeiro’s nightlife, playing at iconic venues during the golden era of Lambada 💃🕺.

A retired Brazilian Army Colonel with 30 years of military service, he later returned to the international DJ circuit, performing across the Americas and Europe.

He is the CEO of Zouk Army and the creator of LambaSwag, promoting and supporting Brazilian Zouk and Lambada events.
Zouk Army also supports projects dedicated to rescuing and caring for abandoned dogs and cats 🐕🐈.

Experience, presence, and personality: some DJs play music. Raffro plays conviction.

🔥TZF 2026: DJ FERNANDO 🔥

Originally from Brazil and based in Dublin since 2015, DJ Fernando Pena is a passionate Brazilian Zouk DJ, dancer and community organiser. His DJ journey has taken him beyond Ireland, giving him the opportunity to play at major international Zouk festivals.

Since 2022, Fernando has also organised a weekly Zouk social every Sunday in Dublin, helping to nurture and grow the local community and create a welcoming space where people can connect through music and dance.

His experience is seen in several dance styles including Zouk, forró, samba, bachata, salsa, kizomba, bolero and tango. Fernando brings a dancer’s perspective to every set. He loves creating musical journeys filled with emotion, connection and energy, always adapting to the dance floor.

For Fernando, DJing is more than playing music, it is a way of bringing people and cultures together through dance, rhythm and shared joy ❤️.

We are so happy to have him again with us this year, hist sets being loved so much by everyone 🎉😍🙏

🔥TZF 2026: DJ ALEX 🔥

Alex’s journey behind the decks began with a desire to contribute to the Zouk community around him, while listening closely to what dancers need and enjoy on the dance floor. Over time, that involvement grew into a passion for music and the art of creating the right atmosphere for dancers.

Based in Cluj, Romania, Alex started DJing with a simple purpose: to support and help grow the local Zouk community. What began as a way to give back soon became a genuine passion — one that led him to develop a distinctive and thoughtful approach to music.

Today, Alex is known for creating balanced sets that combine variety, musical flow, and connection, and he is now being invited to play at events internationally.

His style brings together familiar favourites alongside fresh and unexpected tracks, smooth transitions and natural musical progression, as well as the ability to read the room and adapt while maintaining a clear musical direction.

As one of the organisers of Transylvania Zouk Festival, Alex is also deeply involved in creating experiences that bring the community together — both on and off the dance floor.

The Zouk community in Cluj is truly lucky to have him — not only as a DJ, but also as a teacher. ❤️❤️❤️

🔥TZF 2026: DJ ABBAS 🔥

Abbas started his DJ journey back in 2016, when he would go to Zouk festivals and marathons and be inspired by the most amazing music being played. He wanted to replicate that experience back home in his London zouk scene, and started off by playing for local events and got the opportunity to play for bigger events across Europe, resulting in him being able to DJ at many festivals over the years.

He brings his own style and influences to his DJing. Whether that be traditional lambada/zouk beats, RnB & HipHop & trance music that he grew up listening to, or soul chilling lyrical and oriental beats that he loves 😍. He has a passion for music and is always listening to fresh new beats, to find new songs or the next experimental genre that could work for zouk.

Abbas loves the zouk scene and it’s people and DJs for them rather than himself - he likes to be conscious of the mood and vibe of each night, and will switch up the tracks he has in mind to try and keep as many people happy and dancing as possible.

He has been with us every year, and we couldn’t imagine TZF without him ❤️.

Being a pillar of the Romanian Zouk community in Bucharest, Armin is one of the DJs who has been with us every year, turning every set into a story lived on the dance floor.

Passionate about music and movement, he discovered Brazilian Zouk in 2014, and was instantly captivated by its versatility. Known for his unique ability to find brilliant “zouk-able” tracks across the most unexpected genres, Armin doesn’t just play music—he guides the energy of the room 🔥. Without being boxed into a single style, he adapts his sound to the vibe of the crowd.

Be ready to experience incredibly diverse, fresh sets every single night of the festival! 🌟

🔥 TZF 2026: DJ WILL 🔥

Straight from London, DJ Will is making his TZF DJ debut—after joining us many times before as a participant!

Contrary to popular belief, DJ Will Tun actually does have a life outside of Lambada, and he intends to prove it to the good people of Cluj & beyond, by playing also some wicked chilled Zouk Sets 😍😍😍

Prior to becoming a Zouk-Lambada lunatic, his work as an artist extended to touring Europe as a musician, prolifically releasing 3 musical EPs and an album across a wide range of genres from ska to dub step.
.. But now, he has turned his sights on a new mission: To unite the Zouk & Lambada communities, and showcase how traditional & modern can coexist in peace on the dance floor! ❤️
