NICOLAE ROMANITAN
I hack and I slash like in a video game, I cut pieces of iconic images and I re-paste them in a different situation, on different materials, because I don't believe in any ready organized order, I believe and I trust in a medium that painting has shown me . Therefore I represent characters because I like their faces and their anatomy and I'm not thinking about their context and their lives, I simply see them like some fellows on my road and I don't judge them for their sufferings, political context and stuff. I simply admire them for their shape and endurance in time.
