Sono.808
Interactive Installation
sono.808 is an interactive, tactile installation that transforms a physical wall into a collaborative rhythm maker inspired by the legendary Roland TR-808. By merging computer vision with everyday objects, the project turns static sticky notes into dynamic musical triggers on an 8x6 step-sequencer grid. Participants physically shape the beat in real time, manipulating time horizontally and drum layers vertically through colorful, tangible inputs. This setup strips away the complex barriers of music software, returning electronic composition to a playful, intuitive, and highly visual format. Ultimately, sono.808
democratizes music production, celebrating spontaneous and collective sound creation within a shared space.
