Proud to share the aftermovie of the live virtual production we delivered at Safe Frame for the AUTOBEST.org Conquest Show 2026 — a groundbreaking event that redefined how automotive competitions connect with audiences across Europe.

Broadcast LIVE from our virtual production studio, the show brought together representatives from Ford, BYD, Fiat, Renault, Citroën and MG, who interacted in real time with viewers during the competition for the “Best Buy Car of Europe 2026”.

A new format, a live audience experience, and a fully immersive production environment — all combined into one ambitious show.

What made this production truly special was the seamless integration of:
• real-time virtual environments and 3D cars
• live green screen production
• live audience interaction
• multi-camera broadcast workflows
• dynamic XR visuals
• and a live band performing on stage inside the virtual setup

At Safe Frame, we combine cinematic virtual production with broadcast-grade live workflows, allowing brands, agencies and event organizers to create immersive experiences without the limitations of physical sets or traditional venues.

🏆 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐮𝐥 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐩𝐨 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. În cadrul celei de-a 20-a ediții, Premiile Gopo acordă Premiul Special lui 𝐒𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐫 și 𝐒̦𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮, fondatorii studioului Safe Frame, pentru contribuția excepțională la realizarea efectelor vizuale ale filmului Cravata galbenă, în regia lui Serge Ioan Celebidachi.

Dezvoltat pe parcursul a trei ani, filmul reunește peste 1200 de cadre, dintre care o treime au fost completate prin intervenții VFX. Echipa Safe Frame a contribuit la reconstrucția unor spații și epoci dispărute, de la Titania Palast din Berlin la Basilica San Marco din Veneția, într-un film turnat integral în București.

Prin acest proiect, Sebastian Cosor și Ștefan Popescu evidențiază rolul esențial al efectelor vizuale în construcția cinematică și puterea colaborării dintre tehnologie și creație.

BRAND MINDS 2026 is just around the corner!

2020 feels far away now, but some memories still stand out with incredible clarity. One of them is when Safe Frame Virtual Production Studio hosted Brand Minds—a truly mammoth, two-day live broadcast that brought together over 20 speakers from all around the world: Malcolm Gladwell, Mark Manson, Gary Vaynerchuk, Michio Kaku, Richard Quest, Martin Lindstrom, Beniamin Mincu, Simon Sinek, Nicholas Nassim Taleb...to name a few!

It was one of those moments when everything we knew about production was being redefined in real time. Tight timelines, high stakes, and a global audience—but also a shared sense that we were part of something bigger. Different time zones, different setups, countless technical challenges… all coming together into one seamless experience.

What we remember most isn’t just the scale of it, but the energy. The teamwork, the problem-solving, the late hours, and that unique mix of pressure and excitement that only live events can bring. It pushed us, connected us, and showed what’s possible when technology and creativity truly align.

Looking back, it wasn’t just an event—it was a milestone.

Andreea Ioana Popa și-a adus studenții de la UNArte, secția Scenografie, într-o vizită specială.
Discuția s-a concentrat pe relația dintre scenografia clasică și VFX, mai precis pe modul în care acestea se îmbină și se completează reciproc. Am analizat exemple din The Yellow Tie și The Zero Theorem US, două proiecte la care am avut plăcerea să lucrez alături de Andreea.

Fun times we had lately! We enjoyed a good challenge from Bitdefender launching their Gravity Zone product.
Shot entirely in our studio, both in our green screen cyclorama and our actual office space. One hell of a day!
