a teatru in Romania impreuna cu sotul meu. Piesa, interpretarea actorilor, miscarile si expresiile lor faciale m-au inspirat atat de mult incat m-am hotarat sa ii desenez. Atunci cand fac schitele, nu urmaresc sa desenez exact ceea ce vad, ci mai degraba sa surprind personajul, energia pe care o emite si sentimentul pe care mi-l creeaza.”

This is a page that celebrates Romanian Theatre and the Artists that make the plays come alive. This is a personal project that came about due to my passion for drawing and theatre. Sketches are made by Cristina Dandu. "I love drawing characters! When I studied Animation, we were always encouraged to draw from life as a way to capture the movement, the feeling and that something that made the pose unique. In 2016, my husband and I went to our first play together in Romania - “Clown Visa” at the Odeon Theatre in Bucharest. I felt so inspired by the play, the actors’ interpretation, their movements and facial expressions that I immediately started to draw. With my characters, I don't necessarily go for likeness with the actor, but rather with the character they are playing, the energy they create and the feeling they leave me with."
