Last weekend, in Visegrád, Hungary, together with our brothers from Compania Dragonului - The Company of the Dragon from Cluj, we proudly represented Romania at one of the most prestigious international full-contact medieval combat event: the Buhurt International World Championships Visegrád 2025!
We fought with honor and determination, both in individual duels and as part of the national team.
In the halberd duel, we secured 4 victories in a demanding clash that tested our technique, endurance, and willpower.
In the 5 vs 5 category, Team Romania faced: USA 1, Czech Republic 2, Hungary 1,
and Germany 2.
In the 12 vs 12 battles, we had tough and spectacular matches against Spain, Germany, Hungary and China.
Even though we didn’t come home with victories in every category, we gained invaluable experience, learned a lot, and grew stronger as a team and as individual fighters.
Each match was a test of character, an exercise in unity, and a clear sign that Romania has a place on the international Buhurt stage.

We thank everyone who stood by our side and all those who keep the spirit of historical reenactment in Romania alive.
We return stronger, more united, and more determined than ever to continue this beautiful fight.
