Explore Festival eXplore festival - Bucharest International Contemporary Performance Festival is the largest annual event in Romania, taking place yearly, since 2005.

eXplore festival — Bucharest International Contemporary Dance and Performance Festival is the most important international event dedicated to contemporary dance and performance held in Romania. Co-initiated in 2005 by choreographer and cultural manager Andreea Căpitănescu, the artistic director of 4Culture Association, the festival is an unique initiative of a non-profit association whose goal aim

s to increase the visibility of contemporary dance by presenting a consistent program to the wide public and dance professionals. Each year, eXplore festival selects the most representative international works in tune with the newest visions in contemporary dance and performance, and supports emerging artists by means of production, presentations, workshops, lectures and dance film screenings. Since 2012, eXplore festival is co-produced by 4Culture Association and WASP Studios.
